A debate among Republican primary hopefuls for the US Senate turned jaw-droppingly personal during a discussion about abortion — when one of the candidates revealed that she was the child of rape.
”I am so very grateful that our nation is having a very important conversation about life,” Kathy Barnette, an Army veteran running for the US Senate in Pennsylvania, said during a Wednesday night debate.
“I am the byproduct of a rape. My mother was 11 years old when I was conceived, my father was 21.”

Wave the handkerchief. I do remember someone bringing it up in a debate against Governor Wilson in Calif. Didn’t work. She’s throwing a Hail Mary. Does that make me bad?

Still, it is the truth. Children concieved in rape are innocent.

What debate against Governor Wilson?
To: DIRTYSECRET
She is bringing it up because this issue is now front and center. It is a hell of a thing to tell people this fact. I applaud her for doing so and I don't think it is a political move.
It's what we do now that will determine where we are going in the next life.

The abortion pill actually makes the whole issue obsolete . Nobody is going to be able to stop them anymore than drugs have been stopped. Even the taint of drugs poisoned with Fentanyl has not stopped drug use. Except for those it killed.

Make you bad? No....just a defeatist...and, in this case, a likely realist.
We all know Oz has the name and Trump endorsement, so will probably take the win, in this race.
God bless this lady for sharing her testimony.

Those of us who were born were thrown into a world not of our making, but we still thank GOD for every day of life we have!
Too bad so many babies will never be able to sing this from XANADU.
I’m alive
And the world shines for me today
I’m alive
Suddenly I am here today
Seems like forever (and a day),
Thought I could never (feel this way)
Is this really me?
I’m alive
I’m alive
I’m alive

No, not necessarily; but your constant support for Globalist, Establishment, and RINO candidates does.

Even if it is a political move, so what? Dr. Oz's position until five minutes ago was that people like Kathy, who were conceived in rape, are not worthy of legal protection. She is living proof that they are.

Dr. Oz must be going crazy since his precious abortion could be threatened.

I was saying AMEN to this:
She is living proof that they are.

I honestly don't care if he did or not. I put him in the same category as Mitt Romney. A carpetbagging con-man until proven otherwise.
