This month, a TikToker went viral for her “Hood vs Hood” video series, in which the creator visits and compares dollar stores in different neighborhoods.
…
In the first video of Jones’s “Hood vs Hood” series, which has over 6.2 million views, the creator films herself reportedly going to a more affluent neighborhood to check out its Dollar Tree. She notes the store has items sitting outside of the store on its sidewalk, is well-stocked with name-brand snacks, and offers more obscure foods like feta cheese.
“Now you know damn well in my neck of the woods, they ain’t finna have this shit sitting outside,” the creator says in the video. “Look at these snacks, y’all. Name brand.”
“I was so overwhelmed with the difference of the Dollar Tree,” the creator continued. “All I can say is that’s a damn shame.”

Yah, people differ and all the corrosive lies you were fed about everyone being the same was just that.
The question she needs to ask is: why?
S hole people like s holes so they make s holes anywhere they go.
I’m surprised whitey let her in the nicer store in the wealthy area.
“...the Dollar Tree in her neighborhood, which has bars on its windows...”
Gee, I wonder why??
She should be thankful a Dollar Tree is even open in her neighborhood. I’m surprised the place can make a profit considering the clientele.
What’s wrong with catering to your clientele? You don’t sell Sorel winter pack boots in Florida like you do in Vermont. Same thing from stores in Beverly Hills vs. Schenectady NY.
Surprise, surprise.
Actually, she should be grateful that her s hole neighborhood has a Dollar Tree at all. Count yo blessings, b eotch.
Hell yeah, fo’ sure! They be having them $1 gourmet steaks and sheeit! While we be eatin’ dem playdough steaks. Burn this mofo down!
A family friend ran a grocery store in the hood. It was many miles from a big chain, who had deserted the area. They had been there 3 generations as the neighborhood changed around them. They sold vegetables and such, even though it was not a major item. They knew the locals and dealt with shoplifting as best they could, adjusted to cycles of welfare checks and EBT, etc... it was a lot of work and their kids did not want anything to do with this business.
They finally sold out to some Arabs, who put all things of value behind plexiglas, started selling liquor, and got rid of anything fresh.
That is retail in the hood.
If the only tool you have is a hammer, then everything looks like a nail.
Some people just want to pound all day with the Racism.
So...is this the pilot for a new reality show?...Trailer Park Wars, or something!
We live in a poor neighboorhood- not super poor, but not wealthy by any means, and our dollar store and many other stores have stuff outside all,the time with no issues. Course they do have to take, themmin at night, but still- you couldn’t have that in other towns where blm and antifa run rampant
Did she provide the local SMA crime statistics along with each Dollar Tree she showed? Yeah, I thought not.
Wealthy neighborhoods have Dollar Tree stores?
There is very little litter in nicer areas, too
And a lot less drive by shootings. Hmmm.
