Yes. I never understood the logic of being against the death penalty, but for abortion. Okay, we will take the life of a completely innocent human being, but we want to save the life of someone who, by definition, has forfeited, by his own actions, his membership in the human race. That is a curious take and a total misappraisal of the objectives and goals being pursued by those among us who cannot fathom the reasoning used by the radical to ultra left.

Life ends when it ends, and without the agency of human endeavors, that may be from any time after birth up to something over 110 years, approximately. There are a million ways to die, yet the human organism strives to remain alive for as long as breath can be sustained.

Now, there may be some individuals who would seek to shorten the lifetime of another, but these are very definitely in the minority in the overall numbers of the population. Most subscribe to the philosophy of “Live and let live”, without either much dialogue about it, or by inventing motives that frankly, lie largely in the imagination.

Attributing motives to others, with no basis in fact, is the work of knaves and charlatans.

Straighten up and fly right, Joe Scarborough. Clear your mind of fantasies, and try for once to take a fresh breath of air.
