Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) said Monday on MSNBC’s “All In” that “Republican extremists” wanted to bring back a world of back-alley abortions and suicide over unwanted pregnancies by overturning the Roe v. Wade decision.
Warren said, “I grew up in Oklahoma. I grew up at a time when abortion was unlawful. And that means there were women who bled to death from back-alley abortions. It means there were women who ended their own lives rather than carry forward a pregnancy that they could not bear. Yeah, and that’s the world that the Republican extremists are trying to recreate. Make no mistake about this. This is not one on which America is closely divided. This is not one. Just in the last few months or even a few years, we’ve all come together. For a long time now, it has been the case that the overwhelming majority of Americans, by a margin of more than 2-to-1, say that they want Roe v. Wade to continue to be the law of the land. That’s true, red state, blue state, young people, old people, Republicans and Democrats.”

How can that be a thing in a world choking on sexual education and information? With this much knowledge on procreation, contraception and every detail of any aspect of the reproductive process, any woman who gets pregnant either wanted to get pregnant or didn't care if she did.

Oh, the tired old argument that if abortion isn’t legal then women will “be forced” to seek “back alley” abortions. That’s the same emotional blackmail they try to use in promoting open celebration of “transgenderism” (and any of their other pet perversions): If we don’t all participate in the transgender delusion, then more “transgenders” will commit suicide in despair. Sorry, that ploy doesn’t work on sensible people. It’s not our fault when mentally-disturbed delusional people harm themselves, whether because society refuses to sanction their delusion or for other reasons. We’re also not responsible if some women choose illegal means to kill their children. That’s entirely on them.
