Dem Rep. Meeks: Putin’s War Might Cause People to Starve in America
Breitbart ^ | 05/02/2022 | Pam Key

House Foreign Affairs Committee Chair Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-NY) said Monday on MSNBC’s “All In” that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine could cause people to starve in the United States.

Meeks said, “Time is of the essence. We have the pass this $33 billion immediately. Look, as President Zelensky said, he’s not only fighting for the sovereignty of Ukraine. We know, and we can see, that it is the intent of Putin to move on to the Baltic States, to Moldova to Georgia, and not to stop there. And others are watching what takes place. Let me tell you something else that’s critical. This is why it’s important to all of us around the world. People will starve.”

I predict the poorest people will continue to be the most likely to be obese.

Rest assured, Mr. Meeks, if Americans starve I will blame Democrats not Putin.

Americans having less to eat would lower obesity, heart disease and diabetes and probably raise our average life-span by 2 or 3 years.

And old people living on a fixed income. Some are really in trouble as prices rise.

The U.S. is financing most of this war by proxy for Ukraine to the tune of $30+ billion dollars of taxpayers’ money, and more to come. The Biden regime has figured out that spending even more of our Country’s money up and making America poorer is a desirable outcome according to the Communist doctrine of leveling society down to one low common denominator, both financially and socially. Then in their Utopian world, everyone will be equal, equally poor that is...

There will be no middle class, just the peons and the elites who of course will have all the power and money under a Dem dictatorship. Doubt me at your own peril because this is what is happening. As the war drags on and on, how many more billions is our Country going to be willing to shell out, and believe me our “allies” are all talk and very little ponying up of money to finance this Ukrainian/Russian war. Why should they when they know the sucker, good old Uncle Sugar, will shell out the necessary financing.

When we can least afford to do so because of inflation and the insane Biden regime spending, along with their disastrous energy policy and supply chain breakdowns everywhere and for everything, Biden is going to spend billions more to keep the war going; never to win it, rather in order to further bankrupt our Country. They have incorporated the war in Ukraine as part of their master plan to destroy America as we know it.

I do think it’s nice of them to tell us what they are planning.

It's called "mirroring".

Old means one had plenty of time to prepare.

Some.. too many.. were dealt a bad hand, no doubt. I’d like to help those people.

Probably. Food shortages would be an excellent weapon to use to try to control the citizenry.

We can always eat the illegal invaders coming across the border illegally.

If the situation is really so dire, solution is obvious.
Reduce the use of food (corn) for making ethanol.
Plant more wheat this year in USA.

Yup. We passed away $5 trillion on the Covid flu. We’re currently paying $150 billion a year supporting the invaders. What’s a few billion more here and there.
