This is pretty rich: A columnist who writes for China Daily is concerned about the suppression of free speech. There’s really no word for that level of irony, but that’s his story, and he’s sticking to it. Chen Weihua replied to Elon Musk — who must be having a ball with the replies to his tweets — saying that his “China state-affiliated media” label should be removed, because it’s “totally discriminatory” and intimidates those who’d like to retweet him.

He should add the “Deep State-affiliated media” label to CNN, NYT, WaPo etc. The meltdowns would be glorious!

Chen is a communist running dog lackey of the PRC so he can go suck Xi's duck eggs.
But, to be fair, Musk said the rules would be applied equally so the same label should be attached to the NPR twitter accounts. They are not ...
NPR Politics @nprpolitics
And to be fair to Musk he's not actually in control yet, but, "NPR Politics @nprpolitics / U.S. state-affiliated media" is what it is.

The one way speech could constitutionally be regulated is not to supress it, but to require disclosure that the speaker is supported by foreign funding.
More information, not less.

I don’t know. I just did a duck duck go search to answer your question.
The link seemed pretty self-explanatory to me, but I may not be as complicated as you.

The pic in Bob's twit looks to be a guy my age or older.
At my age, I would revert to using kids’s slang for words nor would I expect Bob since he had no other kids’ slang in his twit.
I think it was a vague shot

Twitter posts can have 140 characters, how many are in his Tweet?
People “your age” don’t call chinks “nips”.
One is Chinese, one Japanese.

Understood.
I thought of that (Japanese) and guessed it as a more subtle hit.
*Refer to Chinese person as Japanese and wait for their reaction.

Consulting the Urban Dictionary for kids’ slang, NP is also verbalized.
My best guess is that kids use such slang to shorten words. As such, N & P would be two syllables where as NiP would be one.
Main point is reading Bob’s twit and language use and do not see him reverting to kids’ slang.
