A prison official from Alabama is missing after escorting an inmate to a courthouse for a hearing.
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Officesaid in a Facebook post Saturday that Assistant Director of Corrections Vicki White disappeared while escorting an inmate being held on capital murder charges. The inmate is also missing.
White left the detention center with inmate Casey White on Friday morning and neither has been seen since. The pair are not related.

She took him to a false mental eval that was not scheduled, and then called in saying she wasn’t feeling well.
On the surface, that sure is what it looks like.
She wasn’t “escorting” him to some official meeting. She was helping him escape.
yes exactly. search for other stories and lots of details. I’ll bet she is taking a dirt nap by now
“White left the detention center with inmate Casey White...”
Same last name, could they be related?
This looks bad.
no. articles say not related
He probably isn’t finished extracting sex from her. Yet.
Yeah, my wife and I were watching some show of hers streaming on Roku, and we got simultaneous Amber Alerts on our phones for it. The whole situation has a smell. At 6’ 6”, he’s gonna kinda stick out a little if seen.
Where is the inmate?
I searched for almost every word entitle because I knew it must have been posted and the results were, nothing. I wish FR would get the search feature fixed.
“Same last name, could they be related?”

I hope it's not--going down in the line of fire from an escaping inmate is a respectable way to exit the scene. Going down on an inmate and aiding in his eventful escape is disgraceful.
“She was helping him escape”
Wouldn’t be surprised.
Volunteer on my church’s prison ministry in North Fla....every facility I go in to has a sign at security that says “Don’t be one of these”
Below that are pictures of DOC employees and their specific offenses.
Many I see were in fact caught bringing in contraband.
But last time in I saw where 2 female guards got caught having sex with inmates.
Many prison inmates are what’s called “master manipulators”.
It happens.
Different source, different title, no big deal. He was not flagging you for a duplicate.
The search works if you have common words:

‘He was not flagging you for a duplicate.’
Yes, I know he was not flagging me for duplicate. However, I use several single words such as “Alabama” along with search on article title. Noting was a hit...The search feature is very bad to nn existant.

Even though men and women are raised in the same family and have a lot of shared experiences, the culture women are raised in is full of unrealistic expectations. This is brought on by commercialized romance novels and unbelievably “message” ridden “entertainment” presenting women as something they, for most part, aren’t. They are not, for example, the equal of men in most physical environments. (I’ll be ducking incoming from the trans “community” and their crazy supporters for decades.) Here’s just one example. The problem that several of my friends have had with their wives is that all women’s entertainment ends with “and they lived happily ever after.” Well, they got married and...uhm...life continued to be hard but with a man who may, or may not, have satisfied lust but certainly hasn’t provided “and they lived happily ever after.” Who could?
So, here’s this woman in a position of power and authority over a man who is literally in handcuffs. She feels powerful and safe and she’s still looking for “and they lived happily ever after.” Most likely she’s dead and never even realized that reality was not what she was experiencing until the moment he killed her.
