Former Minneapolis policeman Derek Chauvin has filed a major appeals brief cataloging the improprieties in his trial for the “murder” of long-time drug addict and career criminal George Floyd.

Convicted a year ago after public threats of rioting if he were acquitted, Chauvin’s 72-page plea details prosecutorial misconduct and reversible judicial errors.
Good luck.
Maybe someone on the prosecution side can highlight the moment Chauvin stopped Floyd from breathing.
But who’s the real bad guy in all this. Floyd wasn’t exactly a model for the community.
I was being sarcastic.
Not taking sides however, one common thing I’ve noticed that runs through these incidents is many of the blacks get themselves into combative situations with police because they refuse to compy with police directions.
And then it escalates.
They don’t seem to want to do what cops tell them to do....especially if it’s a white cop.
Sorry...didn’t catch it....
New trial to be in Monastery near the summit of a mountain in Tibet…
Floyd fought the cops tooth and nail before they were able to restrain him....and Floyd was a HUGE guy. All Floyd had to do was play nice.
Murder is a ridiculous stretch legally.
They found him guilty to keep ghetto blacks from chimping out.
OJ was found innocent for the same reason.
I got myself out of hot water on several occasions by just keeping my mouth shut and doing what a cop told me to do.
Cooperation goes a looong way.
“chimping out”
I’m using that.
Equal protection under the law is the foundation of the judicial system and the last barrier free people have against mob rule. If the courts no longer enforce this principle no matter what the public outcry, we have lost our republic.
“Maybe someone on the prosecution side can highlight the moment Chauvin stopped Floyd from breathing.”
Did you forget the /s sarc tag?
Self induced Fentanyl (and other drugs) caused the POS two time felon with a hand gun, to stop breathing.
“Overdose Signs & Symptoms | Drug Overdose Treatment
Common signs and symptoms of a drug overdose can include: 3,4. Dilated pupils. Unsteady walking. Chest pain. Severe difficulty breathing, shallow breathing, or complete cessation of breath. Gurgling sounds that indicate the person’s airway is blocked. Blue lips or fingers. Nausea or vomiting.”
EQUALS “I can’t breathe”.
God speed Mr. Chauvin. Your trial was a FARCE! Your conviction was a travesty of “justice”?
OJ and Chauvin both had what I call “OJ Juries”, i.e., juries that don’t pay the slightest bit of attention to the facts and evidence in the case.
A massive public demonstration of HEALTHY INDIVIDUALS performing the same procedure with no ill effects would be what I recommend.
Having tried it myself a few months after the GF incident, I can say the worst was slight bruising to the chest. Chauvin was supposedly 160 lbs. A 4 point stance (2 feet, 2 knees) with just one point putting weight on Floyd, certainly brings the weight on his neck to about 60 lbs by my estimate.
When the trial photos showed the knee was actually on the upper right of the left shoulder blade, and not directly on the neck/spine, I briefly tried that and found it less uncomfortable.
In the photos you can see Floyd bring his right knee outward and up. That helps raise the abdomen, making diaphragm function easier when lying on ones belly.
I didn’t think it was necessary.
The Republic is long lost. For 50 years
Courts affirmatively prevent equal protection of the laws.
“Equal protection under the law” was massacred in 1972
when our revered Supreme Court of the United States decreed that unborn persons could be murdered. Thus far, 60 million innocent and defenseless persons have been killed.
As an aside, of the seven judges concurring in this decree, 3 were appointed by Nixon, 1 by Johnson, 2 by Eisenhower and 1 by Roosevelt. of the dissenters, 1 was appointed by Nixon and 1 by Kennnedy.
Exactlyhe was in the car, and woil, dhave been jusy fine had he not started fighting them. One of the cops putting him inmthe car suffered Injuries when f.oyd fought him. F.oy still would have died sitting inmthe car however, as he had way over the deadly .I it’s for Teo drugs in his system. He has like 3 different drugs, two were well over the overdose limits. Nothing was gonna save his life at thay point had he not been arrested at all. He still was gonna die. He was dying when cops rolled up on him.
