Only an idiot would date an immediate subordinate.
I won’t say he’s guilty of rape but he’s guilty of stupid and it’s best to put him in prison where the stupid tend to get culled from the herd.
I’ll ask: R or D ?
Idaho hints R. No mention of party by CBS shouts D.
He is a Republican. Served in the US Army in Afghanistan.
But when is Joe Scarborough's trial for murdering his intern?
Not listed....therefore a democRAT.
If he were a Republican we woud know that in the first three words.
Sounds like he forced and coerced her. Girls and guys need to wear body cams...streaming live to a personal cloud
Every one’s so sexually liberated.....guess the hippie experiment failed.
No free lunch and no free sex.
Cases like this really bother me.
I don’t want a man to get away with abusing a woman, raping
her. On the other hand, it really is hard for a guy to
defend himself.
I can’t explain the bump on the back of her head. It sounds
like something wasn’t right here, but we don’t know how that
bump actually got there.
There is a whole network of people who are there to help
women, but the guy only gets to hire attorneys to help
him in these cases.
If the guy was guilty, I’m glad they convicted.
Perhaps others know a lot more about this.
Not that this didn’t happen, but what, exactly, was the evidence? Her testimony only?
If the victim fled the room without testifying, what did convict him of?
Dumb and dumb. Don’t have sex with your intern, or a intern. The chance of you being raped after that is too high.
That the media did not say that he was a REPUBLICAN...
That the media did not say that he was a REPUBLICAN...
I think this stinks.
She goes to his room and then into his bedroom willingly.
The judge admits what sure sounds like hearsay about what she told the nurse and the counselor, but the “victim” won’t testify.
Should have been a mistrial.
"A former Idaho lawmaker was convicted Friday of raping a 19-year-old legislative intern after a dramatic trial"
The judge really expects any of the jury members to disregard what they heard, let alone all of them? Amazing. Sounds like a mistrial and start over. And at the second trial, the prosecutor needs to get a conviction without that person’s testimony,, Otherwise, this could go on forever.
Can we assume he is a Democrat? If he was a Republican, wouldn’t his party affiliation be in the first paragraph...twice?
