A California state lawmaker said that parents at school board meetings need to learn "a lesson" during a committee meeting discussing a bill focused on creating more transparency in public school curriculum.
California State Senator Connie Leyva made the comment in response to Senator Melissa Melendez's speech on Wednesday in support of her bill, SB-1045 which is aimed at making public school curriculum available for parents to view easily.

Just wow.
Wow.
It may be too late, but there are more and more people waking up every day to the fact that there are government employees at all levels who believe that WE THE PEOPLE are there to serve THEM THE GOVERNMENT.
And that rankles people, as it should.
And the Left is having the lining of their stomachs eaten away by their own gastric juices because people are angry that those tyrannical government turds have their filthy rat-claws firmly gripped on the levers of power over every aspect of our lives, and are loathe to relinquish that power.

A lot of people who don’t live here think CA is monolithically ‘rat. Certainly true of the big cities such as Sf where rat presidential candidates typically get over 90% of the vote, but not everywhere. I think in November we’re going to see school boards overthrown in areas that are not until the full sway of the libs, and at least a few seats in the Legislature. Maybe even a House seat or two. It may not sound like much, and it’s not, but by CA standards would be remarkable

It’s not hard to state one’s point in a public meeting without shouting, attacking other people, or otherwise being a useless twit. But while I loath people who shout down others or don’t stick to the subject, the Left has just about zero right to complain. Note that leftists are just as immature and disrespectful when it’s something they are upset about.
