Elon understands how China works. He knows his voice over there means nothing. Expecting him to battle for free speech in China is stupid.
He has no power/control/hope over China...why waste his time...
Glad Musk is the only American running abusiness in China.
He does not live there. Twitter is not allowed there.
Maybe we need to fix our own issues before lecturing others of their problems.
Agreed
Elon never claimed his platform will offer absolute free speech, only whatever local laws will allow.
Indeed. Just like the rest of the left.
Suspicious, that.
What a steaming pantload of an article.
The government of the US does nothing as every company in the world us doing nothing. This author is ridiculous in pointing to Musk to fix China alone.
He challenged Putin to fisticuffs over Ukraine.
What have our republican leaders of the house and senate done as free speech in America is slowly and deliberately being rolled back?
Step one is free speech in America. China is China. Can’t do much about that. But we can try to prevent America from becoming China.

The Establishment must be concerned as they’re ramping up the silly smears against Musk. What’s next? Maybe they’ll report that Musk likes Russian vodka.
What’s that old saying? Expect more flak when you’re over target. Musk must now be over target.
One step at a time. Musk doesn’t own Twitter yet and you can expect the leftists to fight him. It may be a couple of years before he has cleaned out at Twitter.

This. He is, if nothing else, a very practical person. He can’t change China in any way, so why waste time, effort and prestige in trying to do so?
Funny how everybody and their brother has an opinion about Elon Musk all of a sudden.
He reminds me of DJT the way he effortlessly causes people to expose themselves as to who they really are.
This was true last month as well. Where was the criticism?
