One recalls Tom Clancy writing about this back when he was still with us in some magazine or newspaper article somewhere.

"If someone tries to sell you a used Soviet tank, say "Nyet!""

This was not long after he had written Rainbow Six, with some help, about an insane computer software billionaire who undertook a plan to wipe out 99 percent or so of humanity.

He died not long after that, IIRC. But I digress...

Autoloaders are awesome, until they’re not.

Crew survivability is not an expectation, much less a feature of Russian equipment.
