I dunno. The senate is where the action is. One Governor does not a difference make. Tom Ridge? Rino. Will our nominee be one of the same? Hopefully Dr. Oz. will be a conservative senator 2 years into Trumps next term. That’s all we can ask. It’s Pennsylvania after all.

” One Governor does not a difference make.”

The governor is far more important than the senate or any other race, IMO.

Our PA Democrat governor, Tom Wolf, has given us nothing but misery and corruption here in PA. We need a conservative governor who will go after corruption & stop the migrant illegal flights in the middle of the night.

Oz is a liberal Trojan Horse; Kathy Barnett is reliable. Trump’s “endorsement” is another of his personnel mistakes.

PA is a corrupt state, the PA supreme court has actively defied both the state and federal constitutions, and the state GOP does nothing about it.... they just use as their excuse to get the left wing crap they want done but still claim they aren’t leftists....

Let’s see. Upon further review there will be 4 candidates elbowing each other in a 60 minute debate. The lowest polled candidate has 8% and has 3 weeks to catch up-ain’t gonna happen. Wasting valuable air time. A distraction the MSM engineered. The 2 frontrunners are more to our liking so one tends to lean towards the one with the most hair. Those things count. Compared to the current governors performance we can hopefully count on the November voters wanting an adult in charge. Add the expected wave and our prospects are good.

I donated to Kathy Barnette but changed my mind about her since she supports Doug Mastriano. He voted for ACT 77, which gave us MAIL-IN VOTING for 50 days before the 2020 election.

If we want to reform the ballot drop boxes and election rules, we need a solid, tough governor in Pennsylvania.

If Josh Shapiro wins, Pennsylvania will have 8 years of someone far, far worse than Wolf.

OZ is horrible.. but he has celebrity so he had the low information woman voter who watched his show and are enamored by celebrity...

Trump’s endorsement of him was terrible, that will probably push this absolute carpetbagging waste as the Nominee... and if he is, I assure you I will not vote for him in the General.

After, Specter, Santorum and Toomey, I’ve had enough of these fakes frauds and traitors... let the Dem have the seat, at least I know what they are.. unlike the rest who pretend to be something they are not.

I hope that someone like Barnett winds up the nominee, because the front runners are both useless hacks....

And I’ll be honest, even though there is a HUGE red wave coming, if there is a race that I think might buck the trend, I would say the PA Senate Seat, particularly if Oz or McCormic wind up the nominee, very well may.....

Both are abysmal candidates, are NOT going to play well in the general election, especially against Fetterman. If either of them are the nominee and they win the general, it basically means the Democrat brand is absolutely worthless.... It will basically mean a ham sandwich would win as long as it has an R by its name.

I am watching this race as a bellweather.. because if it winds up OZ or McCormic vs Fetterman and the GOP win, it means the Dems brand is absolutely worthless, and it will be not a red wave, but a total and complete route up and down the ballot for Dems everywhere... only the bluest of blue places will be safe... fully expect close or more than 100 seat gains for the GOP in Congress.

If Fetterman wins, it means that the red wave but not a total route... GOP will still gain big, but it won’t be a complete routing.

I agree 100%.

” It will basically mean a ham sandwich would win as long as it has an R by its name.”

Still gets a laugh from me, after all these years.

I’ve seen every candidate for governor speak at the Lehigh Valley Tea Party over the last year. I’ve been impressed by Lou Barletta the most. He’s a strong conservative & is tough on immigration. Doug Mastriano is naive or he would never have voted for ACT 77, which destroyed the integrity of our elections.

One Governor does not a difference make.

Are you crazy? Part of the reason PA was such a hotbed of vote fraud in 2020 was because of who their governor is. Wolf has been a catastrophe that has impacted the whole country. He's the one who named a trans lunatic as head of public health, don't forget.

If PA elects Lou Barletta, things will change. Can't speak for the other guys, but Lou is the real deal.

There are still about 20% undecided in this race.. and honestly none of these candidates are exactly earth shattering ....

The Democrat Shapiro is equally boring too...

This should become a pretty default election, and with current tide, and fact Democrat has been in office for last 8 years, as long as the GOP candidate isn’t a complete waste, they should win.

The PA race where I think democrats can buck the trend, is the senate seat... If it winds up being OZ or McCormic vs Fetterman, even with the red wave, I would not be shocked it Fetterman wins.. If GOP wins this seat, with either of those as the nominee, it basically means the Democrat brand is worthless, and a ham sandwich would have won as long as it had a R by their name.

Fetterman is that dominance of a presence in any room... This race to me is one where the Dems may buck the national trend, just because of the weakness of the nominee’s they are putting up.. but not surprising as the GOP of PA is about is impotent and out of touch as you can get.

If Oz or McCormic wins, then GOP will almost certainly gain close to or even more than triple digits in the house. If Fetterman wins, then GOP will still gain big, but it won’t be a complete and total blowout up and down the ticket.

We need a conservative governor

Have you noticed that they all claim to be conservative and none of them are?

Yes, Lou Barletta is the real deal. I have his sign in my yard and will work for him. He needs more donations.

Absolutely. My vote is for Doug. Mistakes were made in 2020 no doubt...but he also led the charge against Wolf’s emergency powers and mandates.

Much truth in your comment, however:

Governors do appoint replacements for congressmen who die in office or are removed.

Can we look at DeSantis in Florida and Abbot in Texas and really say that Governors are not important?

Constitutionalists rightly support a shift from federal to state influence.

BTW - Hope the debate will be recorded. Srednik goes to church on Wednesday evening, and his TV is not hooked up to broadcasts of any type.
