Twitter employees have reportedly struggled with the news that the company is on the verge of being acquired by Tesla CEO Elon Musk with some of them too "shocked" to speak over the billionaire’s plans to promote freedom of speech. Several Twitter employees expressed serious concerns and fear over Musk’s $44 billion acquisition of the company including a prominent worry that Musk would undo censorship mechanisms they had worked to implement over the years, The Washington Post reported Monday.

I would laugh out loud if Musk sent them a box of crayons, a coloring book, a small ‘blankie’, a final paycheck immediately & a termination notice all in the same package.
These people are afraid to quit because then they won’t qualify for unemployment or other benefits. In the end, most will get fired.

There has to be some level of censorship on any platform like this.
What worries them is that they won’t be able to arbitrarily decide what’s ‘racist’, etc., and won’t be able to completely control the national narrative.
They might have to (gasp) read things they don’t like or agree with.
Elon Musk would like to sell Teslas and a good way to promote his stuff is to get into Twitter and change it in a way people who might not be so friendly to electric cars like.
