Here’s an idea. Don’t mess with cocaine or other illegal drugs in the first place. Then you get to avoid going to prison and won’t need to beg for a pardon. Just a thought.

I believe that there should be a mechanism to void presidential pardons that are less than an “arms length” away from the president. Not sure how to do it, and it would no doubt take a Constitutional amendment to do so. Make it so that maybe a vote of 35% of the Senate can void the pardon. Low enough to give the minority party leverage here. A president should not be able to avoid prosecution by pardoning his co-conspirators. At least that is my thought.

Actually I thought Trump was supposed to pardon many (”non-violent” offenders, possibly misjudged)....but seems only this 1 woman made any news.
Agreed, do the crime, do the time. THEN...
But the War on Drugs has done terrible harm to the Nation; the penalties for non-violent drug crimes are way too high, and the Police State that has developed to fight the “War on Drugs” is abhorrent to a Free People. Also, and lets be completely fair here, that there IS a racist component to sentencing as well. A poor black kid gets far more time for the same crime than a rich white kid does...

Most definitely. He thinks that human trafficking is a positive thing. Of course he is going to release dangerous criminals. DemonRATs ARE dangerous criminals. It’s a professional courtesy.
