Calling this a “snub” is a bit much. Presidents have visited war zones. But those war zones were at least somewhat controlled by US forces. US forces don’t control Ukraine. It would be foolish to send a US president there.
And suppose something should happen to Biden while he’s there. We’d get a President Harris. Please stay home, Mr. Biden.
