fwiw...I’m hearing that the OSCE cleared out of Mariupol in a hurry and left behind A LOT of documentation that never made it into their official reports. This comes after confessions from some of their team that OSCE was forwarding logistics to the Ukr Ministry of Defense in clear violation of their charter.

Yeah, Russia is bussing in elderly Russians into the middle of a war zone just to give pro-Russian viewpoints to "pro-Russian" (actually, independent) journalists.

Libya was a sideshow where the Brits and French took the lead and, again, the locals massacred each other.
I do actually give the Russians some slack: if you assault a city, some civilians are going to be killed as collateral damage, especially by artillery. But the Russian use of artillery seems deliberately indiscriminate, and there's no excuse for those tied up and executed, not to mention the raping and looting.

You don't get to be embedded with Russian troops, if you are going to be objective.
I have many Ukrainian friends and an especially dear friend that is currently in a village in Lugansk, with her family.
What she and other friends in Ukraine tell me is at complete odds with what Lancaster "reports".
Some of the stories that she tells, of the violence and intimidation, towards Ukrainians, from pro Russian civilians, separatist militias and Russian troops is sickening and terrifying.
