There is a lot of normalcy bias running rampant even here on FR. The perfect storm is forming on the horizon. I am not so sure it is going to just disappear like a rain cloud in a drought either.
The impending shortages are manmade, by governments around the world. There is very little the average person can do beyond taking steps to prepare for the long season. Stock up on what you like to eat and if you can, plan it for 1.5-2 years out. Supplement, supplement, supplement with a garden during the growing season. Even if it is just a little patio kitchen garden. Every little bit is going to help.
Monkey Werx US on YouTube does a fantastic job of getting the overview of what’s happening and why the average Joe should be paying closer attention. Experts are saying the bad time will be in the fall. I still say panic will hit in mid-June.
The world only has 90 days worth of food at any given point and time. Start taking farmers offline through war, lack of fertilizer, and natural disasters, plus broken supply chains...yeah...we’re weeks away from disaster not months.
What did 2022 say to 2021?
Don't be silly.
Food, like electricity for electric vehicles, is magic and appears when you need it.
Its in your tagline.
(What did 2022 say to 2021?)
That’s what I think.
We ain’t seen nothin’ yet.
