Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake is taking a major legal step to ban the use of Dominion voting machines in Arizona’s 2022 election.
On Friday, Lake announced that she has filed an injunction with a federal court to prohibit electronic voting machines in the Grand Canyon State ahead of the midterms.

Perhaps we should go back to using the old mechanical lever operated voting machines. With the technology we have today surely they can be made more accurate and reliable, and more tamper resistant than the Dominions

I’ve heard stories about shenanigans with the lever-operated machines; for example, some time back I read that a gal had pulled the lever and to her horror saw the choices she had made change before the machine reset. Sorry, I can’t remember where I read that.

That was a big problem with the old voting machines. Not much more difficult than rolling back an odometer on a used car. But today there’s gotta be safeguards that could be put in place to prevent that

I believe that “Voting Machines” should be banned across this entire Republic. We know for a FACT that they are nothing more than BALLOT MANIPULATION DEVICES and it matters not one bit who those things belong to or how they are set up.
That should get the Dem’s panties in a wad.

Speaking of old-fashioned lever powered selection devices, the classic Las Vegas slot machine gives better odds for an honest outcome than these Dominion machines.
The payoff might be really large, but the most common result is “You lose, sucker.”
Voting machines should be outlawed nationwide and go to the signed paper ballot. The manufacturers showed their ability for the machines to be corrupted and did nothing to prevent it.
We need republican and democrat ballots straight party up and down. It’s quicker. Anyone wanting a regular ballot can proceed to the booth. Everyone shows an ID.
Somewhere down the road elections should be held on a Saturday with early voting confined to Friday-8 hours. Seniors, handicapped, and vets(dd form 214 in hand).
We need to know who won on election night. Rats don’t want to know for a very good reason.
Paper ballots cast in person and purple ink on the thumb. Simpler is better.
