That is not Christianity; that is enhanced 60’s hedonism. Want to be gay? Why not? Want to be a woman, just shave, grow long hair, take hormones, dress up, wear padded bras, and join the Navy and the women's curling team. Want to mess with little kids? Have at it, but make sure parents don’t find out. Want to be an anti-white racist, a cop-hater, a Marxist, or a corrupt pro-Russia politician with a job that pays hundreds of thousands of dollars a month because daddy lives in the White House? Go for it. Want to make personal happiness your priority? Why not? After all, what is more important than being happy? Want to avoid being insulted or suffering any form of anxiety? We will move heaven and earth to give you that safe space. Want to shut people up you disagree with? Great, happy to close down our business or website because your delicate sensibilities are offended. Want to deny that Satan exists? Better still. In fact, best.
Too many of our churches have watered down Christianity into a church of cowards, too cowed to speak up. They are told that "Jesus would never behave that way." Jesus behaved exactly that way. He was strong, not wimpy. He got angry, He didn’t slink away when confronted with disbelief and evil. He challenged His followers to give up everything for Him, to be strong and courageous, not to wuss out. He went to the cross for fallen, sinful human beings and never shrank from His mission like many of today’s churches are doing.

The weird thing is, when I give the Cliff Notes’ version that Jesus is God Himself, suddenly they wanna go all complicated & stuff. They are antichristian bigots going after “godliness with contentment is great gain” (1 Timothy 6:6).

Just remember that each of us is not on the same place on the path.
Some are just starting: learning with a passion that many of us used to have but have, over the years, become disillusioned and tired of the fight.
Others are seeing evidence of a life lived with Jesus in control: wishing, hoping, and praying that somehow they could graft a bit of the Spirit they have into others.
Others are near the end of the path: able to see the Light and in a hurry to hear, "Well done..."
Between Thomas’s and the Bereans healthy doubt, there is plenty of reason to get the right bead on the historicity of Christ.

I know I’m correct, I just don’t know what to do about it. I have a plan of action in mind.
There’s a book out of print which outlines the historicity of Jesus’s claim to being God Himself. It has a non-optimal title: “Jesus: God, Ghost or Guru?” by Buell and Hyder.
I have tried to buy the nonexclusive rights to reprint this book from Zondervan but they have never responded.
I would retitle it to something like: “Yes, Jesus claimed to be God Himself”. It is a great book, an excellent basis for studying God’s Word.
Is there any way to get this guy from trolling me? Sending 2 Freepmails is “constantly” messaging him? Maybe he shouldn’t have sent ME his FReepmail. Maybe he should have simply answered the question put to him. Maybe he shouldn’t have acted like a troll.
My interpretation of what took place in Genesis 3:6 is not quite as simple as you want to make it. I sense a bit of disrespect for Eve, “the mother of all living”. Perhaps that same disrespect is also directed at Adam for standing by his wife having subjected herself to the punishment for eating of the tree of knowledge.

I’ve attended many churches: I currently attend three every week. I’ve never encountered “preaching “ like what is described here.
But I have seen signs in front of some churches that made me physically ill.
