Even Dr. Oz will attract city votes. He’ll have the rural(gop) votes.

Philly is more black than white now. There will never be a Republican politician in Philly ever again.
Demographics is destiny.

I have a family obligation in Flourtown next week. I’m looking forward to my return trip home. 1,200 miles ain’t enough distance.

Rizzoli was a Democrat. Thatcher Lingstreth was a republican. I’ll take Rizzo over Longstreth any day. But that was back when we had democrats with principles.

You know those days of that type of Democrat are over.
Philly is an absolute toilet.
We set our murder record last year, so there’s that.

Worldwide, Covid cases and deaths are still dropping. In the US, cases have dropped more than 2,000% (not 200%, 2,000%, from about 810,000 a day to about 35,000 a day) since mid-January.

Mittens RINOmney will travel to Philadelphia to vouch for the mayor and also recommend masking up in three, two. one...

Thatcher Longstretch is a perfect Republican name. I’d use Rodney Dangerfield as my choice for him.

Philadelphia also spawned Arlen Specter. The RINO zero. He set the standard.
I do miss Irv Homer, Jim O'Brian, and Harvey in the Morning. Wawa too. But that's about it.

Wawa. A working man's survival store. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Coffee. Hoagies. Amorosos rolls. Hot soup.
I've lived all around the country. Nothing compares to Wawa.
When I was a field service engineer our regional meetings were held in a Wawa parking lot over coffee and a bagel and the trunk lids of our cars while we turned in paperwork to the boss.

So Philly is out trying to attract trade shows back to the Convention Center - most sane people are saying no way - but the Black Expo and Penn Diversity Festival is signed up for their events.
