GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Protesters marched through downtown Grand Rapids chanting and at times blocking traffic Friday evening, demanding accountability for the fatal police shooting of Patrick Lyoya.
Unless we all come together as people who love other people and human beings, what happened to Patrick in Grand Rapids is going to happen to somebody in another city," a protester named Dennis Boatwright told Fox News.
"The common people need to come out and hold our society accountable for holding racist views," Boatwright continued.

This is pure politics. If these people were genuine in their belief that the cops were slaughtering them they’d take over for the cops, preserve life,and show how it’s done.

I love a story with a happy ending.
The problem is creating a culture of ALL Americans where parents need to teach their kids not to resist police because it can get them killed. Such an act of resistance and violence can quickly become unpredictable. George Floyd would be alive today too if he didn’t fight the cops. BLM would only be 3 or 4 racist instigators instead of being handed billions by foolish corporations and living in mansions.
Bull crap. The protesters should be telling everyone: 1) not to resist arrest, 2) don't run away from the police, and 3) don't try to take their weapon away.
Car plate didn’t match the car. Driver thought he would stop and just walk away. Cop, rightful, gave foot chase. Driver fought the cop trying to take his teaser. Driver gets shot and died during the struggle.
Driver got killed because of his own, illegal actions. No sympathy for the prep, none. Good riddance. Would bet the prep has a long police record.

Bust a gut funny.
The guy was driving a car with a license plate that didn’t match. He ran when stopped. He fought with the cop for 2 and a half minutes and was fighting to get his stun gun.
I am ready to make this simple. If you physically resist arrest, the cop is required to shoot you in the leg. If the cop doesn’t shoot you they get fired. With such a rule, maybe the bad guys could figure out if they physically resist arrest they will be shot. I would further add that police be required to arrest anyone protesting such a shooting and there be no bail for 30 days. This needs to end.

I would think that being on probation, if arrested he would be remanded to jail to serve what ever sentence was given in the DUI case? Knew he was going to jail and fought like hell not to. Changes the optics a lot.
