To attach to their "carrier killer" missiles if needed. If hostilities started with a carrier equipped fleet, they'd need them handy or they'd have to fly them in from storage.
“Do you root for all such invaders, or just those like Puken who invade while threatening us with thousands of nuclear warheads?”
If you had a sliver of a functioning brain you would be able to discern I don’t root for “Puken” or anyone else.
Dimwit emoter.
So are the Bidenistas and Schwab Puffers. Those vermin have infested FR.
Got a link?
Gosh, you used the word “cultist” so it must be true.
Here you are supporting a flaming homosexual Zelensky. Seems perhaps you’re real comfortable in that crowd. Nothing more cultish than the homosexuals.
What battleship is that?
Now that’s funny.
It should come with a fish tank to rest on the bottom of.
“experts have warned”
Where have we heard that term before?
I learned that the Axis allies were Germany, Japan and Italy, but have it your way. Incidentally, posting back and forth misses a lot. Tone, inflection, common cutesy is all missing. Had we been talking in person, I doubt you would have felt challenged. It’s not that important.
The “Gorbasm” (coined by Rush Limbaugh) comes to mind. I remember the media gushing over Gorbachev. They loved him, they loved the Soviet Union, and they loved communism. The democrats and their media sluts still do.
HMS Barham, I think.
Would it be improper to say their lives would have been spared if Putin did not invade on February 24th (or an invasion at all)?
Because that’s the way I see it.
There are consequences for actions a nation takes.
War is an action where one never know the final outcome, or at least each outcome, so one needs to use offensive war as a solution of last resort. That applies to George W. Bush also. A lot of the later troubles in the Middle East are laid at his feet.
Sadly, Vlad is finding this out his own hard way, too.
It is sad, but it can be over in a minute if he stops and pulls his forces out.
Since the start of this, it has always been an option for him.
Personally, I think it’s a win for the US, all things aside. The Slava-class cruisers are/were potentially dangerous to US aircraft carriers. One piece off the naval chessboard.
What happens when Russians feel really threatened or when Ukraine oversteps themselves and start attacking Russia? All these fancy weapons could really set Russia on edge. What happens next. If Putin is taken down his replacement will not be seeking peace but revenge! We should not be cheering Ukraine victories because each ne extends the war—we more death and opening it up for a wider war. Its fun to cheer but—I fear the worst could result. If you think the Russians will rise up and take out Putin and sue for peace—think again.
Worse yet, Putler may be trying “accidently” start nuclear war.
Hiding nuclear missiles on a ship that he KNOWS is going to get fired upon... causing a nuclear “accident” and then....
good point
i’m surprised so many here drink that Kool-aid
reporting that this ship had state of the art anti-missile technology
—
Maybe. Unless the money was diverted to more important places - like the Fleet Admiral’s retirement fund.
Certainly wouldn't be the first time that Soviet/Russian nuclear material has ended upon on the bottom of the Black Sea!
Regards,
WII boiler explosion
The crew were evacuated while the fire was being extinguished. The ship sank in a storm about ten hours later
—
Only 54 crew were evacuated and there was no storm - weather: wind 4kts, sea state calm.
