Former President Donald Trump's April 23 rally in Delaware has many people wondering if Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine will be there.
It's no secret Trump wields enormous political power in Ohio. He and many of his supporters have been critical of DeWine since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a one-on-one interview with DeWine, ABC 6/FOX 28 anchor Kurt Ludlow asked if he planned on attending Trump's rally at the Delaware County Fairgrounds.
"On the day of the Trump rally, I'm scheduled, Fran and I are scheduled to be in Georgetown, in Brown County for the kickoff of the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Ulysses S. Grant so we're checking the schedule to see if it's also possible to be at the Trump rally," DeWine said. "But I have a commitment to be down there that day."
When asked if he would accept an endorsement from Trump, DeWine said he's certainly like the former president's endorsement as he'd like anyone's endorsement.
As for Trump complicating DeWine's primary chances, DeWine said if he does the job he was elected to do every day, the politics will take care of itself.

DeWine is a Deep State lackey.
And since Deep State doesn’t include brains or b@lls in its hiring requirements, DeWine will do whatever Deep State tells him to do.
I don’t know much about Ohio politics but his behavior during the pandemic was disgusting
DeWhiner is only slightly better than the “Son of a Mailman” before him. “Spit” on both their names.
Dewine will run from the President’s rally and come up with some lame excuse why he can’t attend. Last time the President came to Ohio he “tested positive” for covid but magically a couple days later a second test showed that it was negative allowing him to resume his schedule after the danger of appearing with the President passed. His daughter ran for Greene County Prosecutor using her father’s name not her married name and a lot of outside money from Washington poured in to help her win the primary, fortunately the voters decided to pass on that great opportunity. Dewine locked down the state and did everything he could to push it over to Biden while doing nothing or saying nothing to help the President. When he was a Senator he spent 12 years following behind John McCain in a worshipful gaze and he did the say thing with Obama’s camp follower Dr. Amy Acton who did everything she could to crash the state’s economy to help Biden.
Based upon Romney, Oz, Graham, Vance, and others….he will probably endorse DeWine at this event.
Renaci is going to be there. Dewine wouldn’t show up.
