The push to unionize Amazon, Starbucks and other major U.S. companies is spreading to another employment sector that historically has resisted worker efforts to organize: America's colleges.
Students employed as residential advisers, assistant instructors and in campus dining halls are uniting to demand better pay and working conditions, as well as pushing more broadly for a seat at the table in setting policies that affect their lives.

America needs Tuition Strikes.
Public education has screwed itself, as it is basically dead. What you currently view in academia are the dying gasps of “too much Marxism”. America rising is their worst nightmare.
Their eating their own. Same reason that it is fun watching Amazon warehouses unionize. If the parent company is Woke, they shouldn’t have any problems with a union showing up, or paying higher corporate taxes. It makes things more competitive for an upstart that isn’t woke to appear.
Now that we’ve allowed the semi-professionalization of college athletics (Effectively only football & basketball!) this was completely predictable!
You think college\university costs are bad now. You ain’t seen nothing yet!
One of my first jobs was an armed security guard but it was union after 90 days you were forced to pay union dues. The exposure to the corruption and incompetence of the union steward and union bosses led me to realize that unions are not about workers it is about the top level to get rich.
These college kids will learn the lesson the hard way.

This will be the final handover, of our higher learning sector, to the commies.
Talk about NEVER having free speech, for conservatives (first), on campus, anymore.
They’re fooling another generation.
And then the students will want their loans to be disappeared; the loans that go to pay for the increased costs of unionized workers who didn’t necessarily want to be unionized in the first place, else they would have done it themselves. Another installment in the “You, you, and you, give them and them all your money. And I’ll take the power for being so smart” show.

This crap has been going on on campus for many years, nothing new at all. Frankly I couldn’t care less. Universities are pretty much useless cesspools anymore, so let them unionize and finish themselves off.
