It’s kind of amusing to hear of the entire Black Sea fleet skedaddle out of anti-ship missile range, now that their protection from air and missile attacks is in the process of becoming a haven for marine life. Which kind of makes them somewhat less useful as naval artillery.

Because Putin didn’t defeat Ukraine, he opened himself up to Western resupply of his opponent.

The US NAVY has an inordinate faith in its defensive systems. Yet how will they do if a technologically sophisticated opponent attacks an American fleet, loaded with sailors and Marines operating relatively close to a hostile shore? Always wondered why the US Navy has not conducted war games in a area that simulates the Persian Gulf. How well would the Navy do if they were attacked by dummy stealthy drones and shore to ship missiles in conjunction with an attack by suicidal swift boats and air attack?

Intel analysts on Twitter indicate that 2 TBH2 drones were employed. The radar used to acquire and lock an incoming threat can only handle ONE target. One TBH2 acted as decoy.
