U.S. lawmakers are reportedly questioning California Sen. Dianne Feinstein's capacity to do her job at her age.

Senators and other officials are reportedly concerned that Diane Feinstein, 88, is no longer mentally competent enough to do her job as a lawmaker, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. Feinstein's critics, however, have declined to speak on the record and asked to have their names withheld.

"I have worked with her for a long time and long enough to know what she was like just a few years ago: always in command, always in charge, on top of the details, basically couldn’t resist a conversation where she was driving some bill or some idea. All of that is gone," an anonymous lawmaker told the Chronicle.

I’ve been told by people who live in her district that who is waiting in the wings to replace here is a far worse leftist.

Another example of why the 17th Amendment should be repealed!

If it’s in the news now, it’s probably been true for at least a decade.

Newsom will be her replacement.

Why would he give up living in the lap of luxury in a great climate and basically answering to no one, including residents. And go to that hellhole D.C.?

It explains the putz Schumer’s bum rush to get Katanji confirmed while Souter is still sitting on the bench til this summer. Feinstein was still able to follow directions on which buttons to push. 25th Amendment doesn’t apply to her, sorry, she needs to stay til she ends her term as the voters put her there.

Yep, There are a number of quite elderly Senators that could get sick and not be able to vote.

Speaking of JFK ...

If what is being reported here is accurate about Fakestein, this reminds be of JFK’s father Joe. His reported obsession of vicarious power and greatness living through his sons ... like be careful what one asks or obsessively works for ... he had a stroke in 1961 and then was compelled to watch in the prison of his body to endure two sons assassinated.

Feinstein ran and was elected by the voters. Unless she competently resigns, I am not aware at moment of a removal process for health, and like Xiden, the demonikraps should be stuck with her - the party must not be allowed to overrule the voters. She needs to serve out her term even if she cannot show up and vote, as the will of the CA voters wanted her. Again, “Be careful what one asks for because one might get it.” and it might not be very nice. I am sure Mitch and Mitt and Susie will help the demonikraps out of the problem the gentle-putzes across the aisle might have. Pence will offer his help as well.
