I don’t know how the Board of Twitter can reject this offer, given their fiduciary responsibility.

They will find a way.

One thing that would generate is that when they fail to live up to the potential of a 38% increase in value, the entire board could be scrubbed. The new board would have better ears for listening to healthy offers.

The old "Pump and Dump":

Buy stock at ______ a share. Check.
Offer to buy more stock at ______ a share (a 38% premium). Check.
When investors inflate the stock price by buying it, thinking they'll sell at the "premium" price, dump the stock and take the profit

They will find a way.

The Board would have to demonstrate that $54.20 a share, to date the highest bid, isn't in the shareholders best interest.

I have to trust Mr. Musk’s business knowledge, but also believe if he does acquire Twitter, it will be dropped as the go to source for opinions by the MSM.

They wont sell on ideological grounds alone, not even for $100 a share.

The snowflake woksters that serve as hall monitors at twatter are all pissing their beds.

I'm not into social media but if Musk bought it, I would give it a look.

I post a few lines on FR each day, read the articles at the NT Post, Breitbart and a few other outlets and that's it for me.

Ever since the 2020 fraud election I've lost most of my interest in political news and find most stuff {even here at FR, boring}.

I'm spending more time outdoors, and less time here at the keyboard, which is a good thing for me.

But, just to have Musk shove it up their politically correct asses, I'd love to see him buy twatter.

A Board doesn’t have the discretionary power to reject a bid based on a rejection of the 1st amendment. They have a money driven fiduciary responsibility, and shareholders are their responsibility.

TruthSocial can’t even process signups properly. There is no reason for them to have a million-plus queue for a digital service supposedly open to the wider public.
