I believe that ship carries over 300,000lbs of ordnance, plus a bunch of oil/fuel.
If it blows up it’ll make a very big bang.
And it likely carries tactical nukes. Which nobody wants to see on the bottom of the Black Sea.

It would be very difficult to hide the loss of a major ship. One can’t say it’s on a permanent cruise with no ports of call, and be believed after a year or so.
