Looks like only a front light change on the exterior from square light to lines. Still beautiful and number 1 seller. You can't get one anywhere. All reserved and sold out.

They are currently going for ~$75,000

Ask Scotty Kilmer what he thinks of Kias. :)

I see KIA this way: Really cool looking bad cars. When I was looking for a “two seater” for my 150 mile daily commute over the twisties of Kentucky back in 2013, I narrowed it down to two cars. The Small hatchbacky looking Hyundai and the Scion FR-S. I went for the FRS, which served me well, through 9 sets of tires and 186k miles. The Hyundai had, at the time, “cooler and more trendy looks”, but handled like an economy car.

I haven’t looked it up, but I wonder which held its resale better.

We have a 2022 Telluride SX AWD Nightfall everlasting silver. Bought new last year and only 5500 miles. We like to look at it more then drive it. It’s a spectacular vehicle. The Wolf Grey Nightfall is stunning too.....all of the Nightfall versions are just stunning and it has so much technology not to mention 10 year , 100,000 mile warranty.

Carvana is offering me for my KIA Telluride then I paid for it. A private sale and it’s even more. Everybody wants the Telluride. We had a KIA Sorento before and not a single problem and so quiet inside. KIA.....unbelievably awesome cars.

Meh. It’s an SUV. Not interested.

My daughter in Seattle, with a two year old, was considering a new SUV last summer. I simply said, you might want to look at minivans. As we were all talking, she pulled out her laptop and started typing away. Long story short, two weeks later they bought a Pacifica plug in hybrid mini-van, and absolutely love it. All her other “soccer mom” friends have SUV’s, and they marvel at her opening the sliding door with her key fob, easily sliding my grandaughter into the back seat without messing with a swing door between parked cars. And going to the George amphitheater and sleeping in the back overnight.

And doing virtually all over her local driving via the electric motor and plugging it in at night. It’s also more stable than an SUV. There is a reason so many accidents nowadays are “rollover” accidents. Thank the popularity of the SUV. I watched one roll over right in front of my on I-405 south of bellevue. A “car” would have spun out.

I think Kia’s are great cars - up to a certain mileage. That is one thing I think they share with BMW.

But I hit a deer at 154k miles in my 2006 Scion xb and figured I’d just drive it into its grave. That was 80,000 miles ago. Still on its original clutch.

I think Kias look really cool, but just don’t see them as cars that last over 200k miles. I also don’t think the tech is quite as sophisticated as other cars. I’ve read the reviews regarding handling, gas mileage, etc. Of course, my information is all over 5 years old, and let’s be honest, Toyotas were nothing to write home about - at first.

Again, check out Scotty Kilmer’s videos on Kias.

Our old minivan reached 18 years old last year, so it was time to replace it. Since it’s just the two of us now and we’re getting on in years, we went small and paid cash. We got such a great deal that the car’s current value is five grand more than the total we paid, including tax, license, dealer add-ons, etc.

So, while it’s not exactly our dream car, it’s quite comfortable, gets great mileage, and we have no car payments.

I love minivan sliding doors. You don't have to worry about idiots, I mean children, banging the car next to you with the swinging door.

“Since it’s just the two of us now”

Do you guys ooze ketchup and mustard and mystery sticky goo into the center console when you’re feeling nostalgic for the little ones?

Why are all the best auto models from foreign countries I wonder. Is it that we have crappy schools, no imaginations, union workers?

And they wiil extend the warranty on some things for essentially forever on some things if it was a poor design causing premature failure.

American car companies are run by accountants and MBAs, not engineers and automotive designers.

Yeah, we've thought about spilling a chocolate milkshake onto the back seat carpet, just for old time's sake.

I think their business plan is planned obsolescence, or at least how can we get the most $$$ from repairs.

If it didn’t have the Kia badge front and rear, would you even know what make it is?
