I think its a superpower war. What did Biden say?
Things are changing rapidly, blah, blah, but US must emerge from this (fourth turning) on top.

This admin has delusions of grandeur.

The United States is still importing Russian oil and will continue to do so until June 24th.

While we are giving weapons to Ukraine, we are funding Russia's invasion.

I think it’s an appropriate time for that bird to crap on Yellen’s head.

Who’s she to be telling another country what to do?

Consequences? More like popcorn time. Yeah, she’s going to put on a military uniform and shoulder a bazooka over to China to make sure they kiss her fat butt.

I had a friend with type 2 diabetes. I suggested he discuss with his doctor going on a low carb, Atkins type diet while having the doctor supervise changes in his medication. After about 4 months on the low carb diet, he was completely off his medication. He was eating a lot of low carb mostly green salads, as well as the recommended protein and fat foods.

We really need to look at helping Puerto Rico reestablish it’s formerly thriving pharmaceutical industry. My son who lives there tells me there is a 5 mile square industrial site that was moth-balled after PR lost its financial advantage. I forget what it was exactly, something about a tax?

While it is certainly possible to have various sanctions imposed on China, with known or unknown negative consequences for the US, there are other consequences for their own nonactions or actions. China is trying to spread its influence throughout the world. The crop loss situation this year from Ukraine, and possibly Russia will have negative consequences in many of the poorer and poorest countries in the world. Even frank starvation will be a possibility in some places. How will these countries that China wants to do business with react if China does nothing to help them by encouraging Russia to operate more reasonably. We will certainly be able to communicate the message of lack of Chinese interest in preventing these catastrophes in the countries where China most wants to achieve influence and economic advantages.

I thoght the US is sending Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) to Europe. SO far as I know we have a surplus of that. I know a friend lost a lot of money a few years ago when the bottom fell out of the natural gas market because of the surplus.

Here is another example of how we don’t have to put any sanctions on China for their economy to be hurt. How many of these western nations which have allowed China to become their main supplier of various goods and parts are now rethinking this dangereous situation? How many more and how quickly will this rethinking occur if China overtly takes part in Russia’s vicious activities?

Not indicative of a surplus necessarily but just producers selling the product where they can get the price.

My wife and I have used Atkins for years. She controlled her type 2 diabetes fairly well, but in 2019 she tipped over into a type 1. The first clue was a DKA with a huge clonic/tonic seizure that ran up $100k in ER/ICU costs to rescue her. Her monitoring now includes both glucose and ketones. We know the warning signs that call for an ER visit to avoid a repeat DKA/seizure. Usually, a simple normal saline IV to rehydrate rescues the problem.
