The World Health Organization is analyzing a few dozen cases of two new sub-variants of the Omicron strain to determine how infectious and dangerous they might be, according to Reuters.
The agency said it added BA.4 and BA.5 to its monitoring list because of their "additional mutations that need to be further studied to understand their impact on immune escape potential,” Reuters said.
All versions of Omicron have proven to be highly transmissible. The BA.2 subvariant now represents about 94% of all sequenced cases but does not appear to cause severe disease, Reuters said. Last week, the CDC said BA.2 accounted for three-quarters of all COVID cases in the United States.
So far only a few dozen cases of BA.4 and BA.5 have been detected. Last week, the UK’s Health Security Agency said BA.4 was detected in South Africa, Denmark, Botswana, Scotland, and England from Jan. 10 to March 30, Reuters said.
All BA.5 cases were in South Africa as of last week, Reuters said, but Botswana's health ministry said Monday four cases of BA.4 and BA.5 had been detected among people aged 30 to 50 who were fully vaccinated and experiencing mild symptoms.

Uh…not talking about what to do.
I had it, and while not fun, it’s not much different from other diseases. I had no vax, no preventative regimen, and nothing special except what one always does to help a cold or flu. This applies to many in my circle, including my elderly frail mom who started it for my immediate family. My MIL died of COVID, but she was the only one and she was fat and also had other factors…including the fact she lived alone.
Point is most of did nothing special and we were fine.
Constant chatter about regimens goes along with the commie premise that this is a really dangerous disease.
It’s ok for people to do it, but like masks, really probably not needed.

Damn, I turned 70 last summer, so that reduction is REAL important to me.
Even before covid average age of death was declining some mainly due to drug overdoses. Betting that’s only gotten worse. The purge is on.

For you there is a table at Soc Sec for life expectancy By Age. For age 70, male, the number is 14.6 or mid age 84. That table is before last week’s data. Probably 14 exactly.
You get to 70, you dodged a lot of bullets that kill people early. But . . . Covid is a new bullet.
As I stated, people are scared to death of this to the point they are taking these regimens as preventatives for months on end. We’re not talking just”therapeutics” when you get it, but being scared so much you think you must prevent it.
Don’t be so angry. I’m just pointing out this tendency and that it’s not quite the beast everyone makes it out to be.

Seems hard to embrace that position when the Covid death count plus Fentanyl deathcount is so enormous. And btw, note the 2 years include 2020.
So 2020 and 2021. The 2020 lost life expectancy was 1.9 yrs. 2021 was 0.4 yrs.
No jabs in 2020. You’ll have to rethink that position.

People need to remember that average age isn’t just about “natural death”. Libs love to treat it that way so they can insist we need socialized medicine - never mind it includes the criminal killings they enable so happily.
