They would have leveled it last month. As to unwanted/uninvited, that depends on where in Ukraine. In this area, it’s a liberation, clearly.

Part of being able to deal with Fake News is knowing that when they say something against their main goals, you know it’s likely the truth (in this case brainwashing Westerners into supporting Ukraine, despite the horrific past behavior of their government).

If the media were as pro-Russia as they are pro-Ukraine, then Russia would be tempted to do what Ukraine is doing to Russian POWs.
That’s why I blame THE MEDIA more so than even Ukraine. Ukraine has been invaded and they understandably feel justified in using every tool available to them. And if that means that they can torture and kill Russians without repercussions, then they will do that.
...now if the media would simply REPORT what they’re seeing from the Ukrainians, these War Crimes would be stopped.

Mariupol locals forced out the Donetsk insurgents in 2014. When they returned, Ukrainian troops captured the city.
