Jared Kushner secured a $2 billion investment in his private equity firm from Saudi Arabia's state-owned sovereign wealth fund just six months after the end of the Trump administration, a new report claimed on Sunday.
Kushner, Donald Trump's son-in-law and former White House senior adviser, secured the massive deal despite being flagged for its 'inexperience' and 'public relations risks' by a panel of economics experts who screen the wealth fund's investments, the New York Times reports.
During his time in the White House, Kushner was known for his close personal relationship with Saudi Arabia's de facto leader Mohammed bin-Salman and for helping him secure a $110 billion arms deal. He was among the Saudi royal family's staunchest defenders within the administration amid international outrage over its murder of US-based journalist and MBS critic Jamal Khashoggi.

This is babylon bee, right?
Hunter Biden’s name has failed to make a similar headline a thousand times until now. If Jared Kushner is not related to anyone currently holding office, this is even more of a hypocrisy by the media.
He’s a sneaky, praying mantis-looking weasel.
Okey Dokey
The guy oozes scum. Sorry, but true.
At least Kushner has an actual business, not a front group, for accepting “investments”. What did these experts say about “investments” into Hunter Biden?
So doubts but gave it to the anyways??
They are preparing the tit-for-tat—and would be happy to see both families go down at this point.
It appears that after negotiating several Middle-East Peace Deals while his father-in-law was President, the Saudi’s trust Jared Kushner with their money? But they only did it AFTER his father-in-law stopped being President of the United States? How corrupt is that? NOT!
So? When we start talking about Hunter who made several millions whist his old man was VP then we’ll talk about Kushner’s dealings AFTER leaving the White House......spit!
Based on what?
There is plenty of tat (Hunter Biden, James Biden etc etc) and no tit.
This one is a non story.
This is what the media/leftists do all the time. They move the goalposts to suit their needs then cry foul when their protocols are used against them...rendering themselves the boy who cried wolf or perhaps even the boy who decided not to cry wolf.
Think about how low they set the bar for impeachment.... next year should be interesting.
Harry Truman once ignited a scandal when he wrote a nasty letter to the Washington Post music critic, who had panned one of Margaret Truman’s recent performance.
why can’t we have simple political scandals like this involving Presidential children - instead of cocaine addiction, hookers, Muslim leaders, the CCP, $billions?
I just call them Arabians like before the Saudi family took over.
“There is plenty of tat (Hunter Biden, James Biden etc etc) and no tit.

No, if true it’s wrong.
It’s what’s wrong with politics.
Kids, spouses and other relatives get rich from influence of someone in office.
Shrink the federal government by 1/3 and move the capital to the plains of Wyoming and have politicians live in barracks
How expensive are Jared Kushner finger paintings?
WHy would a young Jewish man have such close ties to Saudi officials? Seems odd.
I don't remember Democrats or the media being upset when the Clintons started the Clinton Foundation, and the Clinton Global Initiative, for their money laundering schemes.
Kushner was involved in normalizing trade between Israel and middle-eastern countries, and all the left can do is demean the Abraham Accords, and the Abraham Accords Institute for Peace that Kushner established last year. And like most Trump related organizations/businesses, his Institute will be investigated up the wazoo.
