RICHLAND, Pennsylvania — Jackie Kulback has a very detailed list of criteria that the county party she chairs, the Cambria County Republican Committee, requires to endorse candidates in next month's U.S. Senate primary contest.
“There are some basic things," she said, "such as, have they ever been to Cambria County and talked to the voters? Do their values line up with our values? Which is very important because we are a very pro-life county. Can they raise money? Can they do the job? And finally, can they actually get elected in a general election?”
Kulback, who has worked tirelessly over the past seven years to register new voters and make Republicans a local majority in this working-class western Pennsylvania county, never put much stock in the endorsement of former President Donald Trump as a deciding factor.
Kulback says that is not a rap on the former president, who remains deeply beloved in this county. Many "Trump" signs are still hanging up 18 months after he narrowly lost Pennsylvania to Joe Biden. “It is just that voters here have to vote for what is best for us and our state, and we have to make the decisions based on that,” she said.
It is a sentiment that was shared by voters and party chairs across the state hours after Trump unexpectedly endorsed Mehmet Oz, the celebrity heart surgeon better known as Dr. Oz, in the race here for the Republican Senate nomination.
It was a decision that left many dedicated Trump supporters perplexed. Why did he choose someone who had not resonated with conservatives in such a key state on the Senate map? Who whispered in his ear that this was a good idea?

Oz stood with Trump and supported him in 2016. But that does not mean Oz’s governing philosophy is in line with conservative or Republican thinking. I said conservative or Republican for a reason.

“....according to sources familiar with her views on the race.”
“...said a top Republican familiar with the conversation inside Trump’s orbit at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach.”
The old “unamed-sources-speaking-on-the-condition-of-anonymity” trick.

He’ll be one of a few senators at Erdogen’s disposal.

In six years?
You don’t wait for perfection to come to you. That’s how he ran his administration.
So how'd that work out for Trump?
Strategery
Do you have a better explanation, in view of Occam’s Razor?
I think the administration was fine in itself. Trump was up against the world and was able to push back against it. Were you expecting any Republican President to be able to win friends amongst liberals and still stay Republican?
Trump did fine. It was liberals that were willing to burn down America, literally, to get rid of him.
The answers some people are giving here are childish and are an insult to Trump’s intelligence.
Oz is the MAGA candidate here and he embraces it. It is Oz vs the Swamp. Trump has known Oz a long time and talks to him all the time. He has a lot in common with Trump. He is the most Trump-like. A lot of the traditional Republicans who went after Trump in 2016 are the same folks going after Oz.

Educate yourselves.
And still people are blind to the commonality of Donald Trump. He is charismatic but not all that savvy. It was DJ Trump who gave us the vaccines, the masks, and the lockdown regime. Wake up people.
As someone who watched every episode of Apprentice and Celebrity Apprentice, I have to say I was disappointed at Trump’s picks in general for cabinet and govt advisors.
IF he gets elected again, there is no way he could be any more duped than he was the first time. He is a naive man in a den of poisonous vipers, men steeped in evil. Trump is not spiritually able to discern the evil ones so he hires them and trusts them.
Good with the bad,yada, yada...
Many of the Republican candidates for governor & senate will be speaking at The Grove Park on South Mountain, Allentown, Wednesday night. Sponsored by Tea Party. Starts at 6pm.

One thing that people perhaps do not widely recognize - Donald J. Trump is not a conservative, never has been in the classic sense. He is better described as a “populist”, taking the temper of people and applying his own measure of “useful” and “helpful” to the problems at hand, in a way that also happens to agree with the majority of people who have opinions about what is also helpful and useful.
He sees Dr. Oz as a kindred spirit.

Same as the Kenyanesian Usurpation.
You left this video out of Dr.Oz promoting the physical, emotional, and spiritual mutilation of our children. Keep your head buried in the sand but the disdain for Trump is growing by the second.
