Russian ambassador warns of direct military confrontation with USA

Anatoly Antonov, Russia's Ambassador to the United States of America has warned that the current actions of Western nations in relation to his country's war on Ukraine could be leading towards a direct military confrontation between Russia and the USA.

Antonov believes that the support being received by Ukraine from the West is escalating the crisis and hinted that the consequences of such policies continuing or being stepped up could be severe.

"Western states are directly involved in the current events as they continue to pump Ukraine with weapons and ammunition, thereby inciting further bloodshed," Antonov told Newsweek.

"We warn that such actions are dangerous and provocative as they are directed against our state. They can lead the US and the Russian Federation onto the path of direct military confrontation.

"Any supply of weapons and military equipment from the West, performed by transport convoys through the territory of Ukraine, is a legitimate military target for our Armed Forces."

World War IV should provide a great distraction ahead of the midterms.

We’re being played. China is the real enemy, and i hope the electorate realizes it before it’s too late.

Any country that has 6000 nuclear weapons pointed at you is the enemy.

The western elites pushing for direct confrontation with Russia are having as much luck getting their citizens on board as Putin has had in suppressing Ukraine.

“Like the chicoms and soviets never provided arms, etc. to our adversaries in Korea, Vietnam, etc...”

And they squawked like stuck pigs when we mined Haiphong Harbor, because Soviet ships were affected. It’s how the game is played.

On the other hand Ras Putin could order their
invaders to GTFO, nobody invited them to Ukraine.

I fully expect some planes to be shot down outside of Ukraine and some ships to come close to sinking each other in the not too distant future.

Russia is leading up to destroying supply convoys of arms headed to Ukraine. This will probably happen in one of the weaker countries (Slovakia, Romania, Hungary) that border Ukraine. When that happens, NATO will have a Section 5 decision on declaring war on Russia, taking a measured retaliatory action, of looking the other way. Based on the NATO opinion of Biden, they have to look to the US for input and yet Biden can’t be counted on for a solid consistent perspective.

I expect that this confrontation will be staged sooner rather than later and that Russia will be able to document the contents of the convoy prior to destroying it and asking the UN to investigate the shipment of arms to Ukraine.

I also expect that better and longer range arms will cause Ukraine military to use them against targets that Russia will react strongly to, such as sinking Russian navy vessels or destroying military objectives in land Russia views as its “own” in say Crimea (the Sevastopol Naval Station is so tempting) or eastern Ukraine regions Russia considers independent of Ukraine.

#FRUSSIA

The answer is simple :Russia needs to ceasefire and withdraw from the sovereign neighboring country which they have invaded .

Deliver Putin for international war crimes prosecution

Ras Putin knew he could intimidate his neighbors by threatening to invade them. And he DID invade some of them. He threatens Finland and they hasten their NATO admission.

Now he has such a low opinion of Biden that he’s threatening HIM.

He could. But he won’t. He’s in too deep. He’s going to do great harm to Russia by the time all this is done.

China loses nothing, and gains a lot, if Americans and Russians kill each other.
