Actually, a better analogy is saying child porn is worse than regular porn is like saying abortion is worse than murdering an adult.
Which it is. And that's my dispute.
The greater crime of child porn is the innocence of the victim. Minors don't possess reason. Adults are supposed to protect the minors. Child porn presents multiple sins and crimes.
With adults in front of the camera there is the plausible assumption of reason and free will. Obviously if there is force involved it's a different story. And while many such actresses and actors are likely suffering from mental and substance problems, at least they've reached the age of majority.
I also have a disagreement with your supply vs demand and algorithm arguments.
The focus of the disgust should not be pointed at the porn watcher who is actually the target, but the porn industry is the real criminal. Every algorithm on the internet is to draw as many web users as possible to porn sites to get them hooked and on the road to depression and suicide.
Are you also arguing that the drug addict shouldn't be the focus of disgust and that the real criminal is the pusher? Yes, the pusher is guilty of sins and crimes. But they wouldn't have a business without demand. It takes two to tango.
On the algorithm, I have NEVER had porn pop up in my browser. And my searching for articles on homeschooling, vaccine efficacy, Lets Go Brandon, and rock music doesn't drive me to porn sites. I forget which saint it was, but on his deathbed when his brothers asked why he never was guilty of a particular sin, he replied that he never put himself in the position to be tempted. Same with porn and the interweb.
I do appreciate your disgust with the porn industry. They have a statutory license to break the Commandments. But I view both parties to be equally sinful.
Otherwise, spot on. I would go even further, and note that Real Men don't watch porn. Real men of good stock and moral fiber see porn as not just destructive to their soul, but to the debasement of women. "Toxic masculinity" (TM) is actually leftism in disguise, for both see a manmade pecking order. Leftism puts the collective over the individual, TM puts the ever-present football-player rapist type of men over everyone. One thing that is a travesty, is the casual attitude towards sexual immorality among men.
Women are expected to be virtuous and pure, virgins for marriage, but men? Well, they are not held to the same standard. A girl who sleeps around is considered a slut, but a guy who sleeps around is “lucky”.
Problem is, God’s standards for sexual purity apply to men as well as women. They are the same for both. Purity until marriage. No exceptions allowed.
I’ve never watched the show, but I’m curious. Is Costner partially nude in these scenes, or are his clothes on? If he’s dressed, then I don’t think you can claim she is watching porn.

The thing is the casual attitude towards male sexual immorality and fornication seems to be shared by both sexes in the main. Even women, unless the wrong male they don’t like starts paying attention to them.... or a political rise can be achieved(Harris) or in the case of Cuomo, forced resignation with replacement by a woman who never would have been elected otherwise.
It’s an old story...Fornication by a man being used by the woman involved to acheive a power play against that same man...(Samson and Delilah).
