Good point. I would prefer if the US was known as peacemakers, there were a few times in the past this may have held true but unfortunately things have changed, and not for the better.

But since the Taliban didn’t have aircraft and armored vehicles we did not give our Afghan “allies” the advanced high-tech manpads and anti-armor technologies that we’re giving the Ukrainians by the thousands. ChiCom agents are no doubt having a field day buying specimens from the corrupt Ukrainians.

Honestly....we ought to give Taiwain a bunch of nukes with missiles. That would be the end of any Chinese threat to take Taiwain by force. Beijing could huff and puff about it all they want but we wouldn’t even need to get involved anymore. The message Tapei could send them would be quite clear - “try to invade us and the forces you send will be nuked.....and maybe Beijing and Shanghai get erased from the map.”
