The White House confirmed Wednesday that it is giving smartphones to illegal immigrants who cross the southern border to “check in” with them, track them while they’re in the United States, and make sure they attend their immigration hearings.

I don’t remember his name, but the guy who owns the company selling the phones to the government to give away to whoever is a HUGE Democratic party supporter. What goes around comes around...for the Big Guy.
Biden phone doesn’t have the same ring to it as Obama phone. Biden phone comes with limited memory and garbled voice transmission.
I wonder if a feature of these phones are the spam calls from IndirectTV or auto warranties. Maybe an expired student loan. More likely, it would be fireside chats with Uncle Joe about hair sniffing.
The Spam calls will be reminders to vote in the 2022 election - they’ve already been registered as Democrats when they crossed the border.
At the WH presser Doocy should have followed up with, “If they were processed through LEGAL ports of entry - they wouldn’t NEED these smart phones, would they!”

I once inquired about justification for the free phones and was told that since many on welfare have no permanent address, their future employers needed a way to call them.

IMHO this is for keeping track of their voters. This has been going on since the Obama years where drug addicts, indigents, etc. We’re handed phones to make sure they vote, as often as possible.
