Pinterest has become the first major social network to implement a ban on users posting misinformation about climate change.
The image-focused social platform is putting in place new rules that means it will no longer be possible to post content that denies the existence or impacts of climate change, the human influence on climate change, or that climate change is backed by scientific consensus. Misleading posts, including those that misrepresent scientific data will also be banned.

Climate change is theory period.
Post something about how warming is actually a boon to humanity, not something to fear. Warmer climates mean longer growing seasons, larger access to farmland, increased precipitation leading to higher fertility of arable land, and lower risk of death due to freezing. See how long that post lasts. All facts, but inconvenient facts for the psychos who are managing social media outlets.
I used to use Pinterest. I don’t recall that many selfies, if any are on it. Are you thinking of Instagram, maybe? I don’t use that either.
Be that as it may, I used it to get ideas for parties, decorations, lesson plans from other teachers, etc. I stopped using it when most of it became advertisements posted by companies and not pictures of what other people, amateurs, had done. I don’t think I’ve gone there in years.
