"Take Back Control": Marine Le Pen Urges Her Voters To "Go Vote"

The National Rally candidate held her last political meeting in Perpignan before the first round...

..Marine Le Pen "conjured", Thursday in Perpignan, her voters to "go vote" Sunday for the presidential election in order to regain "control"...

"To change policy, you have to change policies. This is why with solemnity, a very benevolent insistence, I beg you to go and vote" declared the Rassemblement candidate in front of some 4,000 supporters...

"In the presidential election, we don't abstain, take back control!" because "no result is acquired until you have voted," insisted Marine Le Pen, who had failed in the regional elections due to the abstention in particular of her electorate, working class and young people in mind.

"Never has the prospect of real change been so close, but it depends on you", "if the people vote, the people win! Repeated the far-right candidate, given second behind Emmanuel Macron in the polls, with a gap that has narrowed in recent days.

Evoking his opponent Emmanuel Macron, often whistled in the room, the candidate estimated that the country had Sunday "a first appointment with history" to "pose the fundamental debate", "between nationals and globalists".

"The alternative is simple. It will be either dilution in a great global magma via a European Union which is the prelude to it, or the affirmation of the Nation" as "the most protective space for our people", launched Marine Le Pen in front of a large light blue M.

"This great choice cannot be made without you. History cannot be written without you" or otherwise, "France will see its name erased from the history books", she estimated. "Don't forget what you have been through, the 'yellow vests', the impoverished pensioners, the humiliated workers, the young people from whom we took two years of freedom"...

The First Round of France's presidential election is Sunday.

Marine Le Pen has pulled close to Emmanuel Macron the incumbent in the first round polling.

The top two finishers Sunday compete in the second round Sunday April 24th.

It looks like another Le Pen-Macron matchup like in 2017 perhaps the economic uncertainties will help her get a better showing or maybe a victory there.

If she is elected will the EU sanction France like they did Hungary? Can’t have a functioning democracy if the “little people” keep choosing the wrong leaders (sarcasm).

Good Question.

Some say Marine Le Pen is more mellow now really more Establishment.

I’m certain she will tow the EU line to a certain extent but immigration will be dealt with more like Hungary that is for sure.

Law and Order ranks high on her agenda and the Muslim culture issue she said this morning in a radio interview that headscarf wearing women will be ticketed if she is President of France.

Hard to say.

I heard some guy say sanctions do not do anything, but then some others some say Le Pen is mightier than the Sword.

I guess only time will tell.

The people in Hungary took control and the EU immediately punished them. If France were to be wrested away from the Warped World Order, it would be much harder for the mewling minions of Davos to punish France.

If it turns out there were French military in that steel mill in Ukraine, somebody will have some explaining to do and it will obviously change the outcome of the election.

Can't have a functioning democracy if the “little people” keep choosing the wrong leaders (sarcasm).

Even though you labelled it sarcasm, that statement accurately depicts what a large swath of those whose salaries we pay via our taxes really think. They would do well to study history and see how things have ultimately turned out for those who have had the same approach and disdain for their fellow human beings.

Usual thing is that people vote for Le Pen in the first round as a protest

She then gets crushed in the second round
