Russia suffered major losses during the special military operation in Ukraine, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov admitted, speaking live on Sky News on Thursday.
"We have significant losses of troops. And it's a huge tragedy for us," he said.

This may be the ploy of looking like you are losing and then rallying the country in support. Become the victim. In a sideways logic, justifies whatever you do to retaliate.
So, if Russia is taking such a beat then why is the war continuing? I mean, if we listen to all the propaganda then Russia was beaten to snot weeks ago.
Are they seeking sympathy? GTFO!

On March 25, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that 1,351 military were killed since the start of the operation. That number represents 0.965% of the Russian troops that started the defensive action. That is very light causalities.

Yet the Kremlin spokesman, in official Russian media, disputes that 2 week old assertion.
I guess you can keep trotting it out anyway, but it’s going to get even moldier as time goes by.
A Russian spokesperson admitted in a Russian news site that they have suffered significant losses?
“Special military operation?”
“Huge tragedy?”
No mention of their objective.
No sympathy for or mention of civilian casualties.
“Why is the war continuing?”
Where is the war continuing ? They have retreated from everywhere to focus on putin’s must-have regions of the south.
