Biden FEC nominee blamed ‘unreliable’ voting machines as she sued Georgia over Stacey Abrams losing election
President Joe Biden’s pick for the Federal Election Commission, Dara Lindenbaum, is about as partisan as they get having represented Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams’ nonprofit that challenged the alleged unconstitutionality of the 2018 election.
Lindenbaum is also representing Senator Raphael Warnock’s church in the lawsuit. The complaint ironically questioned the state’s use of “unreliable” electronic voting machines.
The campaign finance attorney admittedly signed on to a federal legal complaint in November of 2018 on behalf of Abrams’s Fair Fight Action. Abrams has never conceded her loss to Republican Governor Brian Kemp in the race. Warnock’s Ebenezer Baptist Church became part of the lawsuit in 2019.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) grilled her over the issue during a hearing.
“As an officer of the court, you were willing to put your name on a legal pleading alleging that the machines used in Georgia in 2018 were switching votes illegally from one candidate to another. Is that correct?” he asked.
She unequivocally answered, “Yes.”

Sen. Ted Cruz to Biden nominee to the FEC: "As an officer of the court, you were willing to put your name on a legal pleading alleging that the machines used in Georgia in 2018 were switching votes illegally from one candidate to another. Is that correct?"
Dara Lindenbaum: "Yes"
The complaint contends the state of Georgia “grossly mismanaged” the election and asserts that it deprived “Georgia citizens, and particularly citizens of color, of their fundamental right to vote.” The complaint also states that the Georgia election “violated the First, Fourteenth, and Fifteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution.”
It previously went on to decry the use of “insecure and unreliable” electronic voting machines that “lack a paper trail” and therefore “cannot be audited.” The complaint alleged at one point that the machines “switched” votes from Abrams to Kemp.
Following the claim of former President Donald Trump and his supporters that voting machines were rigging the 2020 presidential election, Fair Fight and other plaintiffs have now amended the complaint, removing any allegations of problematic voting machines.
Lindenbaum signed the original complaint in 2019, according to the Washington Free Beacon. She has now been nominated by the president to serve on the FEC which holds sway over determining US election rules. If she is confirmed, she will replace Steve Walther, who is an Independent.
The nominee has worked for a number of left-wing organizations including UnidosUS, the Latino civil rights group formerly known as La Raza, and CodePink. She was general counsel to Abrams’s 2018 gubernatorial campaign as well.
The Senate Rules Committee is examining Lindenbaum’s nomination since she is still actively involved in the complaint.
“Undermining our election system is a serious problem, and we see the receipts of her deliberately trying to undermine our election process with spurious claims,” Honest Elections Project Action Executive Director Jason Snead said concerning Lindenbaum’s nomination. “Someone seeking a position on the powerful FEC should not be working to undercut public confidence in our elections by peddling unfounded conspiracies.”
Many consider Biden’s nomination of Lindenbaum the height of hypocrisy after his criticism of Trump’s stolen election claims. Just weeks before he nominated her, Biden asserted that Trump “created and spread a web of lies about the 2020 election” because “he sees his own interest as more important than his country’s interest.” Then he intimated that the 2022 midterms could be illegitimate if Democrats fail to pass election reform legislation.
“I’m not saying it’s going to be legit, as the increase in the prospect of being illegitimate is a direct proportion to us not being able to get these reforms passed,” Biden disturbingly remarked.
Lindenbaum also strongly supports the Democrats’ federal voting bill.
Her nomination surfaces as Biden comes under pressure from the left to pack the FEC with commissioners sympathetic to heavy-handed enforcement of campaign finance laws. Ironically, as the left endorses a tougher stance on the regulation of “dark money,” Fair Fight Action has taken in over $62 million in dark money during its first two years, according to the Washington Examiner.
It is becoming completely obvious that the Presidential election was stolen.
Following the claim of former President Donald Trump and his supporters that voting machines were rigging the 2020 presidential election, Fair Fight and other plaintiffs have now amended the complaint, removing any allegations of problematic voting machines."
Defacto admission that 2020 was stolen.
Whatever became of the “fractional” vote counting? Or was that “weighted”? Something about the machine adjust vote totals to meet expected ratios or something like that?
I do NOT ever want to hear the words “The computers are always right’ again.
I agree. President Trump won the 2020 election. ANYONE WHO THINKS DIFFERENTLY IS DOING TOO MANY RECREATIONAL DRUGS. It was definitely a “historic” election. It was the first ever American election that was stolen by the communist RAT party. Stolen elections is the new way of getting your worthless candidates “elected.” 81 million mail in ballots” can’t be wrong. It’s just funny but Americans aren’t laughing. Having a mail order President and VP really sucks.
But if Trump says the exact same thing it is insurrection.
Free and fair elections haven’t been part of the American landscape since the Democrats rose from the swamps.
Folks, three guesses why Deep State put those RCV-related provisions in bills like HR1...
Why AK and ME have RCV...
Why NYC just had RCV shoved down voters’ throats...
Why Deep State is doing its damndest to get it passed in WY...
See my tagline.
Of course. Just not being shown on morning and evening news. Plenty of evidence since the beginning.
“It was the first ever American election that was stolen by the communist RAT party. “
Nope. JFK was a stolen election via the Chicago Daley crime machine.
Collins, Murkowski, and Romney will vote to approve.
Now they’re just laughing at us.....and anybody that thinks they won’t do it again is epically naive
Speaking of mail order, Deep State and NYS are using the visually impaired, anong others, to set up more voter fraud...
And then there’s this ..
And NYS will now let people track their mail-in vote to make sure it gets delivered.
Whoopee.
That will not ensure that your vote will go to the person/s you voted for, will it...
I'd still take JFK over any demoncrap, and over every GOP candidate since, except Reagan and Trump.
Nope. JFK was a stolen election via the Chicago Daley crime machine.
Yes and while all think JFK was a great martyred president the truth is Castro should never have been allowed to rise to power and Cuba would be a vacationers paradise today.
Yes. There was substantial “gross mismanagement” in the voting process and the final process of counting votes. Only, it wasn’t a matter of “affecting persons of color disproportionately.” That is patently absurd.
If anything, the Raffensperger Democrat Appeasement Consent Decree, his dogged insistence of the use of Dominion voting machines over a couple of other companies who actually had lower bids, and his refusal to do anything about clear indications of actual major voter fraud in areas largely is to blame inhabited by ‘persons of color.’
This ‘nominee’ should be refused just for even putting her name to such a duplicitous lawsuit where Democrats succeeded massively in their fraud.
Of course she does, this is why she's the nominee. If you can't pass it through legislation, you pass it through bureaucracy.
You are correct.
