Messing with someone’s GF? Wife?
“They say he entered the Army in 2017 as a medical service officer, became an Aeromedical Evacuation Officer in 2019, and has been assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Aviation Regiment, 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division since March of 2020.”

No crew members.. Was this a game of chicken. a vendetta? A bet?
Nor were they, I assume, even on the chopper. Why is this guy flying at 2 a.m. with no one else on board, and it's already been reported this event was no accident.
Was he drunk and collided with another chopper still on the ground, while attempting to take off?
I’d like to read the final report on this.
Having served in an Aviation Bde for 4 years one thing I can assure you, the Army will declare “Pilot Error” if at all possible. If the engine seizes, the transmission explodes, the main rotor falls off, and the tail rotor disintegrates someone will try to call it Pilot Error.
Used the wrong pronoun when addressing someone?
They de-facto already did, by stating, "This was no accident".
Primary suspect: the deep state, until proven otherwise.
I was trying to figure out two helicopters crashing with only one pilot - your suggestion that he hit one on the ground is about the only thing that makes sense.
Interogate all CIA employees with any possible connection to this murder.
Interogate all CIA employees with any possible connection to this murder.
That's the more logical explanation - but I find it hard to believe he was able to get it out to the flight line and get the engines spooled up by himself, and without interference from the MPs.
This allegedly occurred on March 30...And still no preliminary report or other details?
Amazing.
All we get from the media are incomplete stories. No reporting.
Maybe security was lacking. Like up in Seattle where a baggage handler decided and hijack a twin engine turbo prop airliner and joy ride around Puget Sound, before driving it into the ground...I believe it was deemed suicide...I could be wrong.
Supposedly in a medevac unit. He waited till 2am. Went out and fired up one Blackhawk, left it running and jumped in a second one. Took off and then crashed himself into the other one.
No authoritative source for you. I read that on a blog the day it happened.
“but I find it hard to believe he was able to get it out to the flight line and get the engines spooled up by himself, and without interference from the MPs.”
Supposedly it was an on-duty medevac unit with birds on alert. He was a pilot of the unit with all the right IDs and reasons to be out by the aircraft. Especially enough to satisfy an MP.
Even someone bent on committing suicide, that doesn't sound like anything anyone would do. Why not just take off and slam the ATC tower or nose dive into other aircraft on the ground?
