Criminal charges have been filed against the man accused of putting stickers protesting Joe Biden and the price of gas on fuel pumps at a Turkey Hill last week. Video of the commotion and arrest were shared on social media.
Thomas Richard Glazewski, 54, of Manor Township, was charged Monday with resisting arrest — a misdemeanor — along with disorderly conduct, harassment and criminal mischief — all summary offenses.
Glazewski was arrested Thursday after causing a commotion at the Turkey Hill at 1503 Columbia Ave., East Hempfield Township. The incident was caught on video and shared to social media.
Aaron Philips recorded the arrest and posted it to his Facebook page, where as of Tuesday, it had been shared more than 2,300 times. The video shows Glazewski yelling "I did that. I did that. That's what I did," and pointing to several stickers of Joe Biden with the caption, "I did that" affixed to the pump.
A Turkey Hill employee told police Glazewski sprayed the stickers with clear coat or something to make them more difficult to remove, according to charging documents.
Online court documents do not list an attorney for Glazewski. Efforts to contact him by phone Tuesday were not successful.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for April 26 before District Judge Brian Chudzik
HOWEVER....
A Turkey Hill employee told police Glazewski sprayed the stickers with clear coat or something to make them more difficult to remove, according to charging documents.
I believe that crosses the line.
Will he be in solitary for 18 months and denied basic rights? He’s a Trumpy.
Agreed. Malicious mischief would be a fair charge
Pennsylvania Ping!
Please ping me with articles of interest.
FReepmail me to be added to the list.
My opening post notwithstanding please consider boycotting Turkey Hill.
Haha, put me on that jury and see what the verdict is.
How is that Wrong?
Not the mention all of the obscene graffiti spray painted on monuments and statues of war heroes over the past several years. I have never heard of a single prosecution of those crime, even though people were VIDEOED defacing the monuments and sometimes destroying them.
Glazewski sprayed the stickers with clear coat or something to make them more difficult to remove.
HAHAHHAHAHA!
I think the Turkey Hill gas station chain is within their rights to not want any criticism of Joe Biden’s outrageous gas prices. But it seems like what they are doing is telling every Republican to go buy their gas at Sheetz or Wawa. Which would not be a bad idea anyway because both Sheetz and Wawa have way better food and facilities than Turkey Hill.
Well, unless there is a law specifically prohibiting people from placing stickers on gas pumps and then clear coating them to make them more difficult to remove, I I do not see that a crime was committed.
I don’t consider this to fall under the category of vandalism either as it doesn’t permanently deface or damage the pump.
Bad journalism, no mention of the state until you posted this.
when was the last time a liberal was arrested for sticking a 98% or occupy wallstreet sticker on something?
“A Turkey Hill employee told police Glazewski sprayed the stickers with clear coat or something to make them more difficult to remove...”
Probably spray epoxy. But if you’re on a budget, a paintbrush and some egg whites works pretty well, but is more difficult to apply “on the fly”.
You don’t own the pump.
Defacing it is not your “right.” The gas station doesn’t have to allow free speech.
People that go around putting stickers on other people’s property are the worst kind of imbeciles.
I’ve heard that it’s illegal for someone to remove another person’s political statements and signs. (Maybe that only applies to your own property.) Don’t know if it’s true or not, but if it is, the guy was just protecting his political statement.
“I don’t consider this to fall under the category of vandalism either as it doesn’t permanently deface or damage the pump.”
Spray paint isn’t permanent either. You can scrub it off with enough elbow grease and paint thinner. So that’s not really a requirement to get charged with vandalism.
Screw the Manor Township, Turkey Hill, their Politicians, their cops and the Gas Station and Owner.
If I'm on the Jury, NOT GUILTY!
Lancaster + Turkey Hill = Pennsylvania
gorilla glue with the brush applicator works well
