A more legal way would be a five-foot-tall version of the sticker as a poster with a handle, then a person could stand on the sidewalk legally and have it pointing at the big gas sign.

It's very hard to stop someone standing on the sidewalk with a sign.

I agree. It's just disrespectful, and it puts the business owner -- who may want to remain neutral, regardless of how they feel personally -- in a tough spot. I guarantee everyone here excusing or supporting this guys behavior would flip out -- and demand prosecution -- if a Lefty put a Democrat sticker on their property.
