Brussels has not yet responded to Viktor Orban's victory in the parliamentary elections yesterday, but the Hungarian prime minister himself has already addressed the European capital. In claiming the win, Orban called his 53 percent majority of the vote a clear message from the Hungarian voter.
"Our victory is so great that you can see it from the moon. And especially from Brussels," he told the crowd of cheering supporters. "Hungary first. Long live Hungary, long live the Hungarians."
"That Orban immediately started talking about Europe in his first speech is telling. Brussels can wet the chest," says EU correspondent Kysia Hekster from Budapest.
"In Brussels, people had hoped for a different result. Most polls showed a neck-and-neck race, but it has not become exciting at all: the opposition bloc lost a lot and Orban gets an even larger majority in parliament." Opposition leader Marki-Zay acknowledges the election defeat, but also says Orban's "propaganda machine" created an "unfair playing field."
Hungary correspondent Tijn Sadee calls it a remarkably hateful victory speech, in which Orban listed his political enemies: the united left-wing parties at home, Brussels democrats, billionaire George Soros, international media and surpisingly enough, President Zelensky of neighboring Ukraine....

Criticize the right and it is politics as usual; criticize the left and it is hateful.
Suck that one Globalist Swine.
Make Hungary Great Again
Thanks for posting this.
Well, Orban is doing something right … he has all the proper and correct enemies.
Good on him.
What does OberFuhrer Klaus Schwab say?
The globalist left is really flailing around these days.
Man in the High Castle fan? I enjoyed that series down to the final act, and I rarely watch tv.
You go Orban. Call them how you sees them.
The Neo-Nazis the Jobbik Party and Leftists all united against Orban’s Fidesz Party and the Christian Democrats his allies.
They lost.
“...wet the chest...”

Wet the chest?
What in the heck does that even mean?
Interesting expression
Online in the “Urban Dictionary” kicking someone in the chest after making your shoe wet leaving shoeprint that’s wet on their chest.
It’s got a vulgar meaning according to Urban Dictionary, but it doesn’t make sense in this context. It sounds idiotic in any case.
Thought it might have something to do with “chest feeding”.
I’m happy to see proper English used on a title for once.
Hungary correspondent Tijn Sadee calls it a remarkably hateful victory speech
I’ve never heard that phrase, but it conjures up an image of someone falling onto his back and urinating on himself.
Sounds like Soros couldn’t get his minions there to rig the election. Oh well, at least ONE COUNTRY in the West can have a fair election.
“What does OberFuhrer Klaus Schwab say?”
Don’t know, but the Bidenistas here should be able to help you out on that one.
