How to Convince People to Leave Homes at Serious Risk From Climate Change
Slate ^ | APRIL 01, 2022 | FANILLA CHENG AND YULIYA PANFIL

This article is part of a series from Future Tense and New America’s Future of Land and Housing Program on managed retreat and other adaptations to climate change.

Nearly 100 million Americans live on the coasts, and they are continuing to move there at high rates. In fact, the coastal population has grown by more than 15 percent since 2000—faster than the rest of the country—and the population of coastline counties in the Gulf of Mexico region increased by nearly one-quarter between 2000 and 2016. Coastal areas have a population density that is more than five times greater than the U.S. average.

Anyhow a posting from the ALAMEDA (NAVAL AIR STATION) Permanent Service for Mean Sea Level (PSMSL) which has been monitoring sea level since 1938. Pretty much the same.

only Congress, the CCP, and their staffs and soldiers
are now allowed on the coasts of the USA, Inc.

in the alternate Universe, the CRIMINALS and TRAITORS
were taken and dealt with.
Here, the Republic chooses poorly, and is dying
by suicide.

Exactly, who will tell Obama, Gore and Pelosi to leave their recently purchased beach front homes? What kind of leaders are these who say one thing and do the exact opposite?

I believe that climate changes real when John Carey and Al Gore will leave their mansions, and give up their private jets.

You just mandate it, like they did for unneeded masks.

Bill Gates just bought a multi million dollar estate right at the water front.

A big part of the problem with too many people on the coasts is that we force people inland to subsidize their lifestyles.

One example is that just a generation or so ago, the outer banks of North Carolina mostly had cheap wooden buildings with a scattering of concrete bunker type structures that could easily be replaced or, in the case of the concrete buildings, withstand the storms but not be very comfortable.

Then Fedzilla decided that they needed SUBSIDIZED insurance for the storms and ocean swells that regularly plague the area.

The predictable result is that there are now multimillion dollar vacation homes and playgrounds for the wealthy who pushed the former owners inland because they could no longer afford to live there. But now thee former owners have to subsidize the insurance of the rich new owners.

The worst case predicts a foot sea rise in 100 years.
What an emergency?!

I'll worry about rising sea levels when Pevensey Castle in the UK is no longer a mile away from the coastline (being imprisoned in the bottom floor a thousand years ago was a death sentence because it was only a matter of time before the tide came in). It hasn't been by the coastline since the Little Ice Age cooled the other enough to lower the sea levels, more than the Modern Warm Period has risen the sea levels.

The same for Pisa being a seaport city again (it's now a mile from the coastline too). The same for Ephesus being a seaport city again (the coastline moved from it during the Dark Age cooling period a few centuries after Christ and neither the Medieval Warm Period nor the Modern Warm Period made the sea levels rise enough to bring the water back to Ephesus). Ephesus is literally miles (plural) from the water now.

Hmm, why are all the climate alarmists buying million dollar ocean front properties?

Bill Gates and Mitt Romney recently built beachfront mansions is San Diego, and Obama is building (another) $15 million home on the water in Hawaii (by the way, is Obama an oligarch?).

Anyway, it’s a shame such important people don’t know about the climate emergency.

Maybe I should write to them?

Two out of Hussein’s three very expensive homes are right on the water.

Proving again to watch what they do, not what they say.

When Obama and Gates tear down their buildings on their ocean front estates and turn them into unsellable Flood Land Reserves, I’ll start thinking about the Catastrophic Global Warming issue.

New America’s Future of Land and Housing Program

I don't know who or what that is, but whoever is behind it should be on a list, for those of you who are keeping track.
