People in the know are not surprised at how nasty and ugly things are on the ground and that this is exactly what could be expected with the nature of those fighting and certainly with all the various ethnic groups that have come from other countries. Heck even Africa’s sending fighters, anyone looking for a paycheck and willing to kill people.
Zelensky could have prvented it all - he agreed to - and then didn’t follow through on what he agreed on.
Point 1 - what do you mean by “Russian ethnics” v/s “Ukrainian ethnics” — you do realize that there are lots of Ukrainians who speak Russian as their first language (Zelenskyy being one of them)
