Aside from some well meaning Republicans who are still living out the cold war, the choice between Putin and Zelensky’s supporters can be difficult. The one-world elites supporting Zelensky are actually worse than Putin.
Frankly Cronos I don’t need to be schooled on Azov in Ukraine......many articles and investigations over the ‘years’ about their activities and presence in Ukraine has been made aware - and that Ukraine is a gathering place they go to from other parts of the world. They have their own agenda for Ukraine.

I suspect that the Chechens were the ones who committed atrocities. After all, many Russians, it seems are not very enthusiastic about fighting and killed other East Slavs, so they may not be keen on committing war crimes on civilians.

It is likely that the Chechens conducted their share of atrocities. They are well known for it, and seem to take pride in that reputation.
But what is coming out seems to indicate that Russian security services have been deploying with the Russian forces, to purge opposition in occupied areas, systematically using torture and summary execution. For example, the mayor of Bucha had both of her arms broken. Her husband and son had both of their arms broken. All three were executed and buried in the same mass grave with other victims.
The reports of the Russians having compiled kill lists prior to the invasion, seems to have been borne out in practice. Not combatants - political opponents.
Oops, that was the mayor of neighboring Kopyliv (Olga Sukhenko), not Bucha itself. And her fingers had been broken as well as her arms
